If he was a proven B Grade talent, he'd be in front of Hartung. He's not proven, there's a bit of vanilla about his game, but he covers the ground well. I like him and I'd like to have him, but he's not a huge upgrade on some of the talent we already have.

I'm a lot more buoyant about our list than I was earlier in the season. There's enough diversity to cover most problems but a strong KD is important.
In fairness if Dale comes on he plays a similar role. I see Anderson as a similar caliber to Hrovat and I would want 20-25 to even consider a trade if Hrovat ever wanted out.

Makes it harder (from our novice BF perspective to cut 4 - although I think we'll have a better idea after tomorrows announcements) if we need to lose an extra player - but I do tend to agree. Versatile, experienced and has leadership.
The other option is we could not sign him as a free agent, but promise to pick him up in the draft/PSD. Obviously that wouldn't be as good for him, but if we're struggling to make up the minimum draft numbers, it's possible.

I'd take adcock as an upgrade to j.grant, so would offload him somehow, otherwise not interested in him taking match time off Webb, McLean, dale etc

i rate Adcock but i fail to see where he'd play. I don't think he'd fit down back as he's not overly blessed with pace. He could be a back up for Boyd but I couldn't see us cutting a kid we can groom for a 2-3 year player. He'd be hand forward as he's a smart footballer but he'd be a like for Dickson. I can't see the advantage of him taking Dickson's place as I think Dickson is an extremely clever forward and more dangerous that he gets credit for.
Whilst we can be an impatient bunch and/or get caught up in this years performances, I believe we are still a work in progress and are looking at another couple of years of continued development/improvement. Adcock just doesn't seem to fit the bill for me.

I'm still on the Carlisle wagon though for a KPD. I admit his attitude this year has stunk it up but given the garbage the Dons have put it's players though no wonder he's a basket case. For memory he's pretty tight with Crameri also and may just get a new lease of life at the kennel. My only doubt on him is his pace. We seem to really want pace over height (Roughead taken out from that post) but we really need a tall to play on the monsters.

The ruck situation is a worry. I'd be persevering with Tommy for now otherwise Martin is the only one I'm interested in of the 3-4 mentioned. Leunberger just can't seem to get his body right and Kruezer seems a big risk unless he comes for a small pay packet. I think we need to hope a contracted player decides they want out over the next year or 2 and nominate us. Unsure how Ceglar has bee going this year but doubt if anyone would walk away from the hawks.

The story about Kreuzer failing the medical might well be true.
If he's failed a medical with us, then that'll be known by all the clubs. No way will Carlton secure pick 2 if that's the case.

Not even recruited and already Kreuzer might be paying dividends.

If true that he failed the test, then that just supports what many of us have been saying. Talls with dodgy feet are a huge risk. You'd trust our medical team to get that part right, especially on how that impacts the mobility of a ruck man and their ability to complete the circle and cover the ground. Hard to know what Bev thinks about Kreuzer. Is durability the issue, the type of ruck man he is, or neither?

Which makes it a bit odd that Port are willing to pay so much for Dixon when his ankles are ******.
