So supposedly Hrovats been dealing with an ankle injury and is having surgery on it, would explain a bit. Watch him step up next year. We wont be trading him unless we get a hell of a deal, 6 pick upgrade in the 2nd round? Yeah righto
I see you are a fan of Bulldogs Online

If he's available with our last pick, or even if we have a preseason draft selection, would we entertain the idea of drafting Mitch Brown? He was impressive for Sandy at the weekend. He had another chance to shine this week in the Preliminary Final against Box Hill.
Brown won't last long in the draft, bombers plan on drafting him even if it costs their second rounder imo

So heard this from a friend.

'"Nathan Hrovat will be a Demon this trade period. 3 year deal @ 300k per Source - Board member of one of the clubs involved (not MFC)"

the guy who posted this is notorious for chatting shit'

Pretty decent coin for the lad if it is true, I wonder if we'd be able to keep him?

Prefer Redpath to be frank. I feel like Red is becoming more mobile, good mark and starting to impact games for longer. Brown might not be a bad Rookie pick up though.
I hope Redpath becomes that player, though he still looks at home as a fast leading full forward. Both Redpath and Boyd are full forwards, though their styles are different, hopefully they can work together over preseason and combine as it didn't work this season, though if you combine their season outputs together, they combined for 26 games and 35 goals which is not too bad.

That's what I reckon also

Bombers or Saints to pull the trigger in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, though if Carlisle goes to St Kilda then you'd think they won't need him.

Should be a solid SC/DT rookie next season if he's at Tullamarine :)

They wont spend a second round pick on Mitch Brown. Thats ridiculous. 4th rounder at best. Bookmark it.
Depends on the CAS hearing which will happen a week or so before the draft

If they get suspended then I reckon they'll take him early

Think Hrovat on that price already with one year left, so would be a downgrade in terms of money for him

It's probably rubbish, but if the lad wants to go for financial/job security reasons, I'll never begrudge him for it.

The guy who posted that has done the same for every player the Dees have been linked to on Demonland. He's trolling. So that's useless info.

Anyway, just came to check out his contract status and estimated worth. I guess it's fair to say we wouldn't be in the conversation for him for anything less than at least our 2nd round pick?? And whilst I like him as a player I would probably rather roll the dices in the draft. Wait and see what the Dees do with Watts, Howe and Garland but at the moment I'm not sure Hrovat to the Dees has the right mix of means, motive and opportunity to be too worried about.

Hey people. My first post was an airy. Just learning. I too hope Clay can resurrect a career, tough as nails and we could do with the bit of mongrel he has. Heard he likes to get on the turps with his mates up in bairnsdale hope he gives himself the best chance of getting back. Unfortunate but the game these days doesn't really allow for it. Funnily enough about four/5 years ago a bloke claiming to be a mate of Jarrod Grants told me that he was sneaking down the peninsula and getting right on it with his cronies. Always wondered if that was part of the reason he never really capitalised on the great start to his career. Just what I heard. Cheers

Saw 2 Metre Peter at the Netball and Hockey centre last night cheering on his girlfriend or sister. Surely that means he wants to come home and play for the scraggers?

Welcome aboard mate , some of my best work has been airy's :)
Smith likes time with his mates and no doubt like the odd drink , but a more determined competitive bloke you will not find. It won't be for the lack of hard work if he can't make it back .
I have faith he will.

Port have delisted Mitch Harvey and Jarrad Redden. I would jump on one of them as a delisted free agent instantly - particularly Redden.
I thought Redden was going to break out last year, but injuries have really screwed him
If I remember correctly, he's pretty good at getting around the ground....maybe a rookie pick :O
