I would say hrovat and our second pick is fair. No way I would want to trade hunter.
Probably an unpopular opinion but I would be happy to add Campbell to that offer to get it done.

He really doesn't seem to be in Bev's plans and the Bombers need a ruck.

Obviously we would need to be bringing in a ruck to offset his loss.

People being privy to info and not sharing the whole story might be so they don't incriminate the source. They don't want to take the risk that the person that gave them the info can be named and shamed. I know somebody involved in the club, there is no way I would put their job in jeopardy on the chance of backlash from something written here. That isn't fair at all.
I understand that. I think you missed the point of my post.

Crameri and Prismall had separate representation to the remaining 32 players
I'm aware of that but i wonder if that seperate representation was someone PG recommended to them, and advised them to get their own representation.. Wouldn't it be funny if those to escape penalty while the others get a whack.

This thread is ridiculous. You have a whole lot of posters wanting the world to know that they are privy to information that others are not privy to, yet they don't want to share it for fear of it being wrong. The only reason they keep posting and replying to questions with "no comment" is because they want people to know that they are in the loop.

It's pretty simple really, stop talking about cards falling in place, and certain things needing to happen, because all it does is increase the speculation and innuendo surrounding the player.

FWIW, I don't want Carlisle. It has nothing to do with this supposed rumour (which if is what I have heard, I would be blown away if it's true, knowing the family and their background). Put it to bed and let the club do their job.
Agreed, BUT people also need to stop asking questions. If people didn't keep asking questions, people wouldn't have to keep answering/talking in riddles. You can't shoot one half of the convo without the other when they are the ones initiating the topic.

Let's say the rumours are untrue and we want him. I think our first rounder is pretty fair value. I would certainly not be considering adding Hrovat and Hunter's name should not be mentioned in this discussion unless it's for a straight swap (and even then, no). Thoughts on whether Essendon would accept our first?
Keep in mind that he is uncontracted, so they lose a fair bit of leverage there. I think they'll resist then eventually accept just the first rounder. Im not entirely sure if i'd want to trade that though. Interesting choice between that and maybe a Hrovat + 2nd rounder. Would be best 22 straight up. Pick 10 is worth 1395, our 2nd rounder, pick 28 for example is 677. So that and Hrovat (lets say he is worth pick 25) is 1433, the combo is worth more than just our first. Yes, Hrovat is a great player but he is surplus with so much talent of that calibre already on our list, and it would also allow us to bring in the much needed KPD we need while still keeping our first pick like Dally wants. Additionally, if we swapped 3rd round picks to give them an upgrade, that's an extra 113 points, bringing the total to 1546, 5 points shy of pick 8 equivalent.

Is that a fair assessment from both sides?

Yeah. I'd suggest everyone who knows something should probably just stop answering questions about it. I'm actually pretty sorry I ever posted anything about it.
Don't really enjoy swipes at my integrity, well except from yebiga, they're just hilarious.
Glad I'm not Pann or fronk and i rarely have a source.

That is a fair assessment according to those ratings but we all know that everyone's eyes light up when they have a low draft number. That low draft number could be the next Dangerfield and every pick after that low draft number is a pick further away from getting the next Dangerfield or so people think.
You can't offer up 6 average players and say the sum of them is equal to Dangerfield.

It's like saying 'here's 40 bags of shit - now give me one rose'... people won't go for it

Why would you want one rose when you could have 40 bags of shit. Of
course it would depend on the shit capacity of said bags.;)

To be fair, if the facts of the whole story are incriminating enough to potentially put someone out of a job then they probably deserve to be put out of a job for revealing them. The snitch is definitely not the person to be protected in this type of scenario; that's if we believe that this is that type of scenario, which I don't.
Well my pal deserves my trust so I wouldn't incriminate them. They aren't high level but are privy to info now and then.

It's hilarious how people on the main board are already saying that Boyd ain't worth it and will force our other young players out.
Short-term thinkers. I get shivers down my spine (in a good way) when I think of an opposition team having to match up on a fully fit and developed duo of Boyd and Stringer, not to mention Crameri and Dickson. Bloody hell. Think about Adelaide for example, once Boyd makes best 22, if DTalia goes to Stringer like in the final, who's going to go to Boyd? Hartigan? Ha.

Who can blame them?

Only Murphy, Wallis, MBoyd, Dahlhaus, Stringer, Wood, Macrae, McLean, Roberts, Webb, Honeychurch, Roughead, Prudden, Dale, Daniel, RSmith, Morris and Redpath have re-signed since we brought Boyd over.

We're clearly doomed to lose our entire squad, and will have to re-name ourselves to the "Tom Boyd Football Club" before begging for re-admission to the league in 2022.

That, or it's all bullshit, Boyd will be a star, we'll hold the squad together, and the Collingwood supporter in question is still offended because they traded up to secure Bontempelli and still missed out.

A lot of interest from Suns posters in Lobbe, they're hoping Port will give them him for Dixon which would be a solid straight swap

As I said yesterday, I have a sneaky suspicion the prototype ruck we want is Nicholls. Wonder if it is him and perhaps we could get involved in this deal somehow?
