He's 200cm which is big enough, giving up a few kgs though.

I'm wondering where we will find a Stefan Martin type from - Martin was horrible at Melbourne and only really started hitting his straps from 26-27 onwards.
Stefan Martin is a good example. Smaller than most ruckman (height wise), very athletic and was in a terrible environment. Throw him in a new environment with new opportunity's and bam..you know the rest. I'm not saying Gorringe will be the next Martin or even close, but it's just a good example of what can happen. Like you said Martin only really exploded at 27+, Gorringe is still only 23.

I don't think does
A player who is out of the game (ie not on an AFL list) for 1 season or more should be considered 'retired' (by choice or not). Returning to the AFL is like returning from retirement, therefore their rights to chose a club as an unrestriced free agent are waived and the player has to again go through the draft.

This doesn't outline that specifically, but it is how the system works.

I just heard that you guys were very interested in him last year, and would've loved the opportunity to draft him, being a bulldogs supporter and around the local area. I was just wondering if you were still potentially interested in him
I don't see why we wouldn't be. He's a good young player and we had some interest. Glad to see he has some loyalty and sticking it out though.

Yes we're still interested him were told he was homesick for Victoria during course off the year I should reminder contract are not worth paper they are written on just ask Tom Boyd had a year off his contract to run then asked to be trade part off Griffin deal last year .As far Duggan the club did Wce whether they trade him during last trade period we ask the same question again next year despite being contracted .

Why would we trade a first round draft pick (what it would take since he's contracted) on another midfielder when we're struggling to fit them all in as it is? We almost doubled the Crow's (the best clearance team all year) clearances in the final (46-26) and yet we still have to somehow squeeze in Libba, Koby and Clay into that team next year. We've also got Hrovat, another inside mid that can't play any other position being wasted in the VFL. Plus 4 of our last year's draftees are potential future mids as well (Mclean, Dale, Daniel, Hamilton).
All whilst we are genuinely struggling for KPDs and Rucks.

Our VFL midfield is going to be embarrassingly good next year(embarrassing because it's wasted talent/trade currency).

anyone know much about this Jordon Bourke kid? Delisted player from brisbane
I know only a little bit - agile and quick key defender who can also pinch hit forward. He is however an atrocious kick, more of a third tall type, and, simply put, nothing special as a player. I've only seen bits and pieces though.
