Mate we go and get Hurley no matter the price.

Leaves us with Hurley Adams Morris Roberts Collins Hamling as KPB.

Then forward we use Boyd Rough Cordy and we need one more ruckman to help out. Hurley will allow us to move Suckers and Murphy forward also.

I don't like Vickery is actually prefer Griffiths if we talking Richmond.
Big call to suggesting Zaine is is the answer to our missing KPF. He looked ok there last week and hope he has another crack this week. But so far that call is made off Zaine playing all of 5 minutes forward!

Technically we got Collins for free given that we would have taken either him or Dunks at our original pick.

I agree, he doesn't seem to have the traits of how our defensive structure setup, but he has plenty of time to develop and improve. FWIW his ability to tackle is first class.

Geez we have a few with unreasonable expectations from a first year player. We've been far more tolerant with Fletch over the time and he's taken a few years to get where he is.

KPD's rarely develop quick but if we can get more out of Collins in the future than what we've got from Hamling now it's not a bad situation. Collins needs a lot of improvement but he does have the future makings of a defender if he keeps working hard

Collins looks like and old school FB to me - not super quick but has made pretty good progress this year at VFL level, really developed his intercept game according to the VFL watchers.
I'm certainly not writing off an 18 year old highly rated fullback that snagged a debut in his first year.

Hurley would be amazing for us - imagine Wood & Adams off the leash to intercept mark with a Hurley taking the best defender. Hurley is actually a threat with the ball in hand too which is why he was the AA CHB.

We get Hurley, Collins gets the luxury of another 2-3 years to develop his craft. If he gets a call up, then he'll have the support of one of the best defensive structures in the league.

We can't forget that he was virtually unbeatable at U18 level so he's obviously no dud.

I am more than comfortable at giving the kid some time. He wont get any smaller, and in our side that's a plus.

No one is writing Collins off and no one has set any high expectations for him. All thats happening is a few of us are no where near as confident he will turn out to be gun as most others. We will all be patient with him though, he has plenty of time to prove the minority wrong.

I don't think he is the answer but he won't be needed in the backline with their players so give him a heave up forward.

I think Hurley allowing Murphy and Suckers to move forward will fix our issue and with Crameri coming back and Toyd improving we should be ok.

This Collins argument is silly and for one simple reason, most
people on here had him in the survey as which player to get
with our first pick in the draft (11). We traded the pick to
Carlton for two picks in the late twenties and guess what
we still landed the fish and double hooked another fish in
young Dunkley, stop complaining it's penile. Fronk is quite
entitled to his opinion he liked Sam Darley as well who is
now the captain of Richmond's VFL team. Chill pill anyone.;)

Agree and with improvement in our goal-kicking smalls we will be more than ok.

So with Koby dropped do we think it's a foregone certainty that he won't be at the club next year?

If he is getting four year deals elsewhere I think it's in the best interests of everyone that he takes it.

Bit of a shame cause I'm a Koby fan.

He is gone and if I was him I'd be gone also. BOG three weeks ago and now dropped. Pathetic selection IMO.

He isn't getting 4 years at any club mate

Some Dogs fans confident of us being in the lead to get Hurley and Dons fans also very confident in keeping him. Going to be an interesting off-season. Think there will be a lot of flat fans if he goes back to the Bombers. Some high hopes now.

If Roberts helped us win a flag this year, will you stop trying to delist him or trade him?
