Can't see how Addo can bring us anything worthwhile on his own. I think Addo is almost the perfect depth player (the kind you want to keep, but as a barometer you don't necessarily want to see him in the 22). So unless he becomes a pivotal piece in a complex trade I'd be hanging on to him.
Hunter Jones Crameri
Grant Patton Dahlhaus
Say that Jones goes down. Neither Crameri nor Grant are #2 key forward marking targets imo. Who takes his place? Campbell? Well then we've got a very slow forward line who will struggle at ground level and at holding the ball in (while Crameri is fast his defensive pressure isn't the best). Cordy? Good luck with that at this stage. Roberts? Might not be ready and definitely isn't now. Williams? We can't plan for him playing a part next year (or ever) because of his shoulders. Stringer? May not be ready.
Now let's look at our hypothetical defense:
Morris Talia Picken
Young Roughead Johannisen
Say Picken goes down. Who takes that dangerous small? People may well suggest Wood here but they also seem happy to cart him off to GWS for a half empty bag of peanuts.
Addison is very much capable of filling roles in both of those scenarios. He's no star player, but he's a serviceable role player and one who I would not be disappointed to see stay on.
If we need to clear out another list spot there is at least one player still remaining who is not a serviceable role player in the slightest. I would suggest we look there.
