Hrovat would go very well at Norf. Plenty of midfield minutes for him and he isn't slow like their other mids.

Just came onto the board to ask dogs fans about hrovat. I remember a few years back a dogs player that kept racking up touches but kept getting dropped was easily one of the better younger dogs cant remember if it was hrovat or macrae

That was Hrovat. He's also a former pick 1.

May or may not have a 2 in front of that 1.

Nah he's a former pick 21.

Asking price is around a 3rd.

Got 25 disposals against Essendon this year. Also a former rising star nom.

Hrovat kept getting injured.
I think he led us in goal assists in 2014. He makes good decisions in his inside 50's. Very different to most inside mids. He is more a first receiver style mid.

have you guys got a trade lined up that involves a mid 50s selection? dont think you guys would pay pick 31 and dont think we would accept pick 67 so we need to find middle ground haha
Reckon we may try and get something of value for black possibly around that pick 50 mark but highly doubt we could

looks like hrovat might slip through you guys and go to carlton or gold coast unfortunately then
Depends what we get for wells to i guess! Could be late 1st rounder but could be around that 40 to 50 pick due to age! Depends how much the afl take age into account! Personally if a bloke signs a near 2 mil contract over 3 years age shouldnt come into it imo

Unfortunately Jacky Macrae is not for sale......to anyone.....ever....
The way the trade period is these days the player doesn't need to be for sale, a rival Club just says $$$ are you interested and then the play just says I want out.

It looks like we are OK this year however expect sides to make plays for our better players from next year onwards whether they are in or out of contract, Bont, Stringer, Macrae, Dahl are the ones that worry me the most

Thoughts on having a crack at Jordan Murdoch with Pick 38? Big-bodied, pacey, goal scoring midfielder that has potential to thrive under Bevo's system.
Again, we need to make 3 draft selections:

Minson, Stevens and hrovat out.
Cloke in.

We need to lose 2 more to be able to make 3 draft picks and take another player (using Murdoch as an example - who I think is a lemon by the way).

So who's going??

Jack Macrae strikes me as the sort of quiet achiever guy who is way more valuable to the club he is at than people know and will always stay if offered a reasonable deal. IMO he's not going to be the sort of flashy performer that attracts interest and overpay from elsewhere.

If I were to place bets for guys on our list that stay one-club players. He would be up the top of where I would bet.

Stringer worries me though. Someone may offer a severe overpay for him and he might go.

Probably looking at a pick upgrade situation. Say our 2+3 for your 2+3 would probably get it done.
Keep reading on various sites that the gc are keen on andy swallow. We could potentially get some good picks there purely based on there desire to keep david rather then what andrews value is personally think we shoukd encourage that traade as we could get some decent picks and help get blokes like hrovat over the line
