Will smash the Bulldogs for the next ten years hahaha
Good call Einstein.

How do you expect that to go down on a bulldogs forum?

Grow a pair and tell us what club you really support. Personally I don't understand how people have that much time on their hands to smurf a web forum under another account.

"The Dockers have also presented an offer to Western Bulldogs premiership defender Joel Hamling.

Young said Hamling was torn between the Bulldogs and Fremantle, but wasn’t far away from deciding his future.

“Fremantle have come late with a possible trade and he’s certainly entertaining it,” he said. “In the next two or three days he’ll give us a decision whether he wants to stay or leave and go to Fremantle.”"

The way the trade period is these days the player doesn't need to be for sale, a rival Club just says $$$ are you interested and then the play just says I want out.

It looks like we are OK this year however expect sides to make plays for our better players from next year onwards whether they are in or out of contract, Bont, Stringer, Macrae, Dahl are the ones that worry me the most
The only one of those who could leave is Stringer. Bont is contracted for like another 5 years. Dahl and Macrae are good Doggies boys for life.

Freo upped their offer to him post finals.
Dogs then significantly upped their contract offer in response.
Balls in his court.

Watch Bont's Charlie Sutton speech and Dahl's post-Grand Final interview and let me know if you're still worried about them leaving.

Macrae is hard to read but he's been loyal. He could have accepted better money to go elsewhere, achieve less and be the star (e.g. Cripps).

Stringer is someone that will have to be managed. He knows better than anyone how quickly it could all be over, he's got a young family to worry about, and he brings weapons-grade marketing value to the table. If a club offers him a fortune, we'll have our work cut out for us convincing him to stay.

Lol,we have just one the premiership, out of he blue that many didn't even expect. "You will see" lol,why do you think any of us really care what team some flog trolling us really barracks for? I'm actually glad some tool has set up an account to make stupid comments in regards to us. Shows we are relevant, causing envy and a dangerous proposition moving forward in the eyes of the opposition

Play for a premiership team or a bottom 4 team.. hmmm
Or get paid more money than you will ever see in your life to move home, knowing that you have already achieved the ultimate football success that every player is chasing. Freo can contend again if they manage their list well. They have some genuine superstars in Fyfe, Walters and Bennel.

Again, we need to make 3 draft selections:

Minson, Stevens and hrovat out.
Cloke in.

We need to lose 2 more to be able to make 3 draft picks and take another player (using Murdoch as an example - who I think is a lemon by the way).

So who's going??
Still a few cards to fall. In a way, it would be ok if Moyd decided to retire and go out on a premiership (who could blame him?). Otherwise, it may have to be Prudden delisted and then relisted as a rookie. If Hamling goes, I can see us replacing him with say, Brand from the Hawks as a KPD.

Bennell.. ha.. will never live up to potential.

Don't think Fyfe will be the same again.

I'll give you Walters.

He also came from Broome not Fremantle or Perth so the go home factor is a bit of rubbish really. It's the money and anything else is a bit of a cop out

It's not moving home- he's from Broome. That's like moving to Melbourne to be closer to your home in Brisbane. It is an obscene amount of money though, and I'd certainly understand if he opted to take it.

Unfortunately if he was going to stay he probably would have signed by now.

Will need to be replaced via a trade
