If it continues we need to make some hard calls.

Crameri-Melb-pick around 30
JJ - Essendon-2 late first round picks
Webb-Brisbane pick 18
Honeychurch-late pick Gold coast

if we stay where we are we would have picks:
10-15-16-18-27-30

Then offer pick 18 for Dunstan
Then offer pick 30 for Abblet and $400k a year

Picks 10-15-16-27
Abblet
Dunstan

Do it......................

Sorry but Crameri is not worth 30 and we wouldn't get 18 for Webb.

Jones is playing shop window football
He has history in this department , remember his last season with us ?
He looked like the VFL's version of Wayne Carey . Last chance saloon and he plays some decent footy .
Early body of work does suggest it could make him,but it's early doors.
Good news for Carlton is if they trade him they'll get something . Be interested to see how he goes for the rest of the season

Pick 18 for Webb?
A pick in the 40's for Webb would be hard to get.

AFL salary cap increase is through. If that was what was holding up JJ's decision then no excuses, take it now or tell the club you are going so they can negotiate the best deal possible.
Yeah you would think if not in the next couple of weeks , it's adios !

Is see you corrected to Gunston.

Do you mean Jack Gunston or Norman Gunston - it is a bit hard to work out given some of the values you place.

As weird as it is after a premiership, this club needs the continual good news of guys signing on to keep some positive vibes about the place. One last domino to fall.

Do you remember Jon Ballantyne ? Same deal. Was excess to our KPF needs and shipped off to Collingwood. String a few good games together for them as a FB. Pies fans were giving us heaps about our dumb coach playing him out of position. He Then vanished into obscurity.
If doing an ACL after a solid run of form at fullback is vanishing into obscurity...

9 games for Collingwood over 2 years. (29 in total over 5 years at afl level). At 25 went off chasing $ as an NFL punter. Didn't make it either. Injury aside he's hardly a household name. Liam Jones won't be one either.

Hunter is getting butchered by beveridge this year IMO. Playing loose behind the ball a lot where his is awfully ineffective. He has become the king of the sideways/backwards safe option that teams are happy for him to take.

Get him back on the wing please Luke.
Only in the last 5 or 6 games. I thought he was much more attacking early in the year than he had been previously

There's a fair bit of truth to the story about the Dogs being right into Lever. Expected to stay at the Crows but the story is that we're as "active" as anyone trying to get him to come home.
As good as Lever is, can he play as a number 1 defender?

Seems to be the 3rd at Adelaide behind Talia and Hartigan.

Someone like May fits the bill better.
