Has north come out and said they're not interested in Jake? If so that astounds me, he is exactly what they need.

Well... they need a lot in a lot of areas but just for marketing purposes he'd be worth it
Think you'll find that they have enough player "issues" to deal with already.

North offered overs for everyone from Dusty to Darcy Lang and still can't get anyone there.
I think we can discount North as a destination for a while.

How the hell did we not get involved in the Harrison Wigg trade?! Kid is a gun, beast, the full monty! To top it off, he's an "elite left footer" from SA, a-la Howard, Fuller and McMahon.

JMac's head must roll, this could have been the missing link. I wouldn't be surprised if Wigg raises the hair on the back of GCS supporter's necks next year, and his follicles of destiny lift them all the way to 16th, or possibly even 15th!

9/10. Would have paid you full marks if you had squeezed a Jong-esque FACT in there somehow. :p

Dickson can't stay fit and is already 30

Redpath has bad knees and can't mark over his head which is concerning.. and keeps getting suspended. He's reasonably accurate when he does get the ball though

Boyd kwwps getting played in the ruck despite not being one.

The others are all midfielders with the exception of Crameri who may still be delisted.

We need some natural forwards, that much cannot be denied
Don't deny it but get all those guys on the park and we'll kick more goals with or without stringer...

These 3 are probably never going to get back to their best. Dickson was awful last season, some blame injury but I think he’s come to that awkward age where the cliff top is half a step in front of him (Mark Lecras style) Crameri is constantly injured and also is close to the end. It’s been 24months since he has done anything at all. Redpath * sighs is a battler who is overcoming another serious knee injury. He had the turning circle of a truck before now his turning circle will be that of a train. They don’t turn. Plus in what month is he due back.

Dire times my Doggy friends, very disillusioned with commentary about Stringer. Should have always taken the Geelong offer of 20. Now it doesn’t get done which is my preferred option or we get drilled with no lube by a well hung Italian Godfather.
We will be laughing stocks on here for months if this stinking sh1tpile of a deal goes through. Either way our list management team is untenable now.
Dire times?

Hate to see what you would be posting if we hadn't have won a flag for 60 years....

How is a 2018 2nd round pick better if Essendon win the flag?
They're not going to win the ******* flag. They made finals this year because it was a weak season across the table for everyone except Adelaide & Richmond.

Time to walk away Dogs.
Time to say to media " We tried get a deal that we thought would be fair for the club. We said if that was not achieved we would not trade Jake as he is contracted. Jake is now off the trade table and we will work with him in 2018"
