Good news on Wallis and Libba.

Not sure on the uncertainty on Campbell. Bev won't play him - maybe its just uncertainty as to whether we trade him or delist.

Thinking on rucks, I'd be happy keeping Rough as a fourth ruck on a min chips contract. Would far prefer that to recruiting a Z Clarke. If Rough has better offers, good luck to him and we rookie list a mature ruck.

Seems Power is keeping a tighter grip on the contract and purse strings than Jmac. Easier to do when the club finishes 13th than a flag winner.

Keen on Shiel. Would prefer to lock a deal in now to pick him up as a FA next yr rather than spend high picks on him. We are so overdue to pick up a quality FA/trade.

Now I'm concerned about losing Brad Lynch. I think he he's going to be an absolute gun. Is there any likelihood another team could pry him away? Do we have first rights to use a pick on Lynch or can another team jump in earlier? Apologies for my lack of draft knowledge.

Wallis and Libba locked in

Journalist writes an article saying several dogs are likely to leave.
[BigFooty] - what would they know they have a grudge against the clubs, its all speculation and no truth to it.

[BigFooty] - you ripper fantastic news I knew they would stay with us etc Ill put number 3 on my jumper now.

Point is don't believe anything until its fact.
Its still all speculation until everything is signed off.

Lynch two year deal with us

Obviously nowhere near the excitement value as talking about trades for Shiel or Kelly, but I'm wondering if we can work out a point boost trade with Geelong.
They currently have no picks between their first and third rounders but then have Richmonds third plus Carlton and GC''s 4th.
That is currently picks 54, 55 & 56 but will probably push back further.
If we offered our third rounder that is a more usable pick for them & more draft points for us.

I know they have Brownless as a FS this year but I believe he is projecting as a later pick.

I don’t think I’ve ever been less anxious heading into silly season.

We have our base set with elite young talent. Dal, wallis, Roughead and Adams don’t concern me at all.

Exciting times.

Saved me the hassle. Ta.

Never been more confident with a Dogs list than I am with this one.

It’s seriously good.

Fair play imo. If someone wants to poach your captain, either tell them to pay up or piss off.
Problem is that Cochrane has form with both Ablett and O'Meara. Ablett was not allowed to leave until his contract was up (he did) and O'Meara was only being traded for an established star (he went for pick 10 and a 2nd rounder). His credibility when it comes to these matters isn't exactly high - talk is cheap.

Is it possible Adams was told in his exit interview that he isn’t guaranteed best 22 next year?

I have zero problem trading him he is made of glass

Feel exactly the same. No point carrying 'guns' who rarely play.

Wonder if Adams has had a gutful of injuries and wants to try another club's rehab room? Mayne North or the Hawks?
