Anyone notice how Barrett hasn't leaked just about anything relevant this year? He is irrelevant.

I hate how so many stars are looking to depart their clubs. Starting to head on the trajectory of american sports which will ruin the game more so than these rule changes.

People have to remember that our list and recruiting management are different now, which indicates there will be a change in our activity. That being said it wouldn't surprise me if we are quiet this year and busy over the next few.

As fronk says Zeph , he is about to enter his prime.
Walked into a shocking football club as a skinny kid.
Hugely talented , put in a decent program I think he will thrive.
By the way I was not in the camp that wanted to trade the 5 & 6 for him.
I would pick him up also but he isn't worth anywhere near 7. Lachie Neale is worth 7 and he is 3 X the player Martin is.
7 for Martin would be the equivalent of the pick we wasted on Sherman.

Beams just stated he will be staying at the lions
Glad to hear, if they can add Neale to that midfield/forward rotation they could jump pretty high up the ladder next year

Don’t know anything about him or his contract status but heard whispers we are into Callum Ah Chee.
Interesting. Contracted til end of next year. Drafted as a small forward mainly but has been playing a bit of half back this year. Maybe interested for a decent price.

I heard a rumour that there's interest in Taylor Duryea.

I cannot fulfill my burden of proof and therefore it would be illogical for you to believe me but I want to have this here so I can flex when it eventuates.

Wouldn’t need to play back. We have Richards, Crozier, Lynch, R.Smith and Suckling as small/medium defenders.

Rookie list or senior list?
The Western Bulldogs have re-signed promising defender Roarke Smith for the 2019 season.

The 21-year-old has played 12 career games since he joined the Club as a rookie in 2014.

He missed extended periods in the 2016 and 2017 seasons due to consecutive knee injuries, but returned this year to make 10 senior appearances.

“I’m very excited to have another year at the Doggies,” Smith said.

“In the past I haven’t played a lot of footy, so it’s been good to put a few games together, and hopefully next year I can play a few more.”

Smith averaged 12 disposals and 3.8 intercept possessions per game this season off half back.

“Roarke got his chance this year and took the opportunity with both hands,” said Bulldogs General Manager of List and Recruiting, Sam Power.

“He’s been very unlucky with injury in the past, but we’ve seen some great glimpses of his ability this season and it’s been great to see him get some consistency with his game.

“Roarke has plenty of upside and development in him, and we look forward to seeing what he can produce in 2019.”

Doesn't seem to specify.

Just realised we re-rookied him last year, so I assume we can keep him on that list for another 3 years (2 more after this year). Don't see any point in upgrading him.
