Either this is the usual spin when players re-sign or things have changed remarkably since. Comes from WA originally (Derby). Not sure if we would be a destination for him even if the rumour was true.

I would've thought they had learned their lesson after smashing us in 2014. Every year there's another irrelevant side. You're right, it's lazy stuff from window lickers aimed at window lickers.

In the end 4 out of 10, 2 out of 10, is just their opinion. ****wits the both of them.
If someone can remind them that our "irrelevant" club beat Essendon and North and checking the finals schedule, none of us are playing next week anyway.

Who cares what Barrett and Lloyd said , one thing is they were correct our year was poor and between a 2 and 4 out of ten , beveridge has realised this and is making changes big changes , we will have a big turnover and hopefully replace them will better talent

Would have preferred to see Roarke go, rather take a hit on a late pick/dfa/mature rookie than keep him on the list for a 4th year, something we've done too often recently imo with players like Pearce and Prudden. The opportunity to find another Gowers/JJ/Dahl shouldn't be thrown away on someone who's shown little over a period of time

Pick 8 in 2015. No surprise we'd be sniffing around. Very quick

That kinda makes sense as Ah Chee is a typical Scott Clayton lightly framed, skilful outside forward/mid that GCS are overloaded with. He has talent and would be a much better list fit for us.

GCS have had a heap of high picks and will have more this year (with PP and Lynch compo probable) but need reasonably experienced role players just to stay competitive in the next year or 2.

Something like 2 of Honeychurch, Roberts and Jong for Ah Chee could be a win/win trade

Theres no doubt that those inside the club are big fans of Rourke. He's gotten games pretty much every single time he has been available over the past few years which obviously hasnt been much. I dunno I dont see a whole lot there personally but hes more than handy depth and were already turning over the list a huge amount by the looks of things. Id much rather him than another rookie pick at this stage.

If he can stay fit and find some confidence in his game (because hes not really playing with it atm) I wouldnt be surprised to see him show what the club obviously sees in him.

Yeah, pretty unclear. We re-drafted him as a rookie last year so he can stay on the rookie list (which is my bet on what is happening if it is just a one year deal). Happy for him to stay, there was one passage where Roarke started at the centre bounce against the Tiges and I thought he did really well. Sometimes Knees can take more than one year to get over, so I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to another level next year.

Murphy, top 10, Ian Williams only played 33 games. I have a vague recollection of him in 1983, kicked a few goals from a HFF.

It says a one year deal for Roarke so he must be staying on the rookie list. If he was being upgraded it would be a default two year draftee deal, wouldn't it? Or am I off the mark on that.
