Worse thing about the Kelly trade:

For years the cats have topped up with older players trying to stay in the window. The consolation to the rest of us was that it will eventually come back to bite them without youth and draft picks. But now those mother effers have a huge selection of early draft picks!

I'm not convinced we'll get Bruce if we need to trade pick 32 to Adelaide for Keath. Unless we trade a contracted player??

I’m no great authority on the quality of this year’s draft pool, but haven’t several posters indicated it’s not exactly brimming with top-end talent?

I’d be keeping 17 and giving Saints 24 in that scenario.

We still have 3 x 3rd rounders to trade up. We could also downgrade pick 13 by a few spots and gin an extra pick to put into a pick swap. Still a lot to play out this week.

We already turned down pick 13 for Keath and 23. Seems we're pretty keen on keeping pick 13.

Physically he's very much the athletic utility player we need, but I haven't seen him play.
