Why would Geelong pay pick 24 for Steven? That's way overs. Don't want to be mean but he will be 30 before 2020 season starts. He only played a handful of games in 2019 because, correct me if I'm wrong, he had time out for psychological issues. Pick 37 is generous enough.

Hill would be worth every bit of pick 6 & something else, but not another first rounder that is more than likely going to be quite high.

Saints and GWS list managers look like they may be about to do a pick swap. Could get the ball rolling with the Bruce trade now that picks are starting to change hands

I hope we hang tough with the Saints and drag things out. They can posture all they want but if they want to get things done in time, they have to move. Hang on to Pick 13, if it all goes to hell see if Port want to trade for Howard with us. I do want Bruce but not at any price.

Freo want pick 6 and Saints 2020 first for Hill. Oh boy.

Saints want to make him the highest paid midfielder in the AFL. Yes, highest!!!!
Freo wants the equivalent trade deal.

Saints went too hard for Hill. They shouldn’t have put so much money on the table before asking Freo what Freo wanted.

From looking at things, Saints are really pushing for Geelong's Pick 24 for Steven. If that gets done instead of thew geelong pick 37 then I have no doubt that Saints will be coming hard for your pick 13 for Bruce + 24. That way, they can do the hill deal for 6 + a 2020 pick. Pick 13 will get Howard from port and maybe Ryder too as a stand alone deal. Then they will try and use 2020 pick t get Jones from Sydney. Would the Dogs do Bruce + 24 for 13..that might be the one that their whole house of cards then hinges on?

that would value Bruce at pick 40. Hmmm, tempting, quite tempting.

two first rounders seems obscene for hill when one of them is 6, we would be the big winners if they turn around and ask for a second back and coz theyre looking like theyre playing hardball so saints position getting even poorer when dealing with us because they really do need the pick

I wouldn't tbh. I don't want opposition sides to view us the same way everyone views Dodoro. We've benefitted in the past from establishing good trading relationships (getting Crozier for unders from Freo for example) so I'd rather we just reach an amicable deal with the Saints that everyone is satisfied with
