Wasn't Garlick recently appointed to the Dogs board?
Good point. That definitely rings a bell.
Garlick was in the top job at Whitten Oval between 2010 and 2015 before recently returning to the club as joint football director with Matthew Croft.

The 44-year-old is currently the CEO of leading marketing, communications and commercial agency Bastion Collective and will relocate his family across the country to Perth.

The Garlick news is over 24 hours old. Venture out of this thread occasionally people.

On the flip side, can’t believe we let him go, Garlo still looks fit enough to be the small crumbing forward we’re crying out for... 😀

so which website is fluffing this whole trade period the most?
I know people love to get stuck into Browne,Barrett etc but the Roar has to take the cake.
Just employees talking about what they had for lunch and 2 of their 5 posters telling us how great west coast and Carlton are over and over and over again.

Everyone needs to remember that the trade value of a contracted player is completely different to that of an uncontracted player.
Agree, until Geelong/West Coast blew that theory up when Geelong went in dry on them on Kelly

If I were West Coast I'd tell him this is the price on your head, we're taking you at 14 in the draft

I'm like the Swans mate, no fuss and just get the job done. A bloke once offered me $200 for a used drumkit. I settled for a carton of beer and he helped me drink it. We both ended up happy.
LOL ...
next morning (to self): Jeez my head hurts and my mouth feels like the floor of a cocky's cage, WTF did I drink last night?
(to significant other): "sweetie, did you move my drum kit? It's not in the music room."

Lol,win trade week.
I'd rather win during the actual season, the thing we actually go to watch.
Each to their own. I see the footy season as an elaborate and rather drawn out prelude to trade week.

Widely known amongst list managers that Reid is second only to Dodoro for title of ‘biggest ****head’ when it comes to getting deals done smoothly.
I'd put whoever runs Gold Coast ahead of Reid
Hawks have gone from landing coniglio to landing frost... think he will do ok for them in a role but the chirpyness prior to the coniglio decision was unbearable
They were meant to be getting Coniglio and Whitfield
That's what being labeled as a "destination club" will do to some fans

Delusions of grandeur

33,70 from Bombers for 45,51.
32 for Bruce.
33 for Keath.
Racking my brain how to get deals done whilst keeping 13. They might not be happy but think they will have to both take picks in the 30’s. Get the feeling Crows will be tougher than Saints. Saints need to get picks in.

I think we shouldn’t be too terrified of using a 2020 pick. No doubt we will have some assets go out of the team and we can always split picks or dip into 2021 picks.

For instance using a 2020 3rd rounder to help get Bruce over the line isn’t such a bad idea.

Why use a 2020 3rd rounder when we have 3 this year?
