Clearly the “something” that triggered Dunkley is a godfather contract offer - and frankly good on you guys for offering that to him.

However if the Dons then don’t come up with the godfather offer to prise him from the Dogs - then i’d say future approaches to other players won’t be entertained.

I can’t stand them.

I’ve never met one that isn’t a complete and utter f$ckwit when it comes to football. Most of the scum around my age grew up winning and they has this attitude that they are superior to everyone and it’s their right to win.

I’m yet to find a single Essendon fan that can tell me how many Grand Finals they have won. Not one has given me the correct answer EVER

Been thinking about Trelour and I’ve come to conclusion he would be a good get for us at the right price. He is technically at his peak and price would be at its lowest. Poorly handled by the Pies. We should pounce on the opportunity. Bazlenka and Trelour steaming out the middle would be great to watch. Would balance out our midfield nicely. Personally I’m not too fussed with losing Dunkley as I think he’s the most replaceable of our elite midfield. If opportunity for west now. Also, it’s mentioned on this board that McLean is out for 2021. However, isn’t an ACL 6 months or so nowadays, which would bring him back early into the 2021 season, albeit without a pre-season, if all goes well?

Dodo is a big reason I hate them but then his also the reason they've stayed out of contention for so long so that's a plus. Having to see his smug face for the entirety of trade period is horrific. I'm very glad most recruiters stay away from him as much as possible and actively do deals just to avoid him

If we take on Treloar and that salary, i hope we go full NBA style salary dump and make them give us picks to take him. No way should any sort of first round pick be involved unless Stevenson is coming too

That works in theory but the overall impact of a hard salary cap is that you end up with picks to take more players on low salaries as you can’t afford to pay them - no luxury tax concept applies
