Everyone knows my feelings of him as a player and him being a good bloke or not should be irrelevant to him being on the list again.

All I was saying is several said they were happy to see him get another crack yet several said Greene couldn’t get on the park so had to go

no point keeping anyone on your list if they can’t get fit and with smaller lists that’s even More important
Jong is tough and a better player than Green

Bulldogs great Brad Johnson said the club must strike a deal rather than risk seeing Dunkley join Essendon for nothing — or having a disgruntled player on their list next season.
Thanks Brad for confirmation of your media status

I have not come in here with stupid remarks or dumb requests. I have stated my position and that is to have a reasonable debate.

I got thread-banned on your board for doing just that.

Why should you be treated any differently here, Precious?

Essenscum entitlement?

If his family moved back, great, but seems to spend a bit of time in WA in the last couple of offseasons, so probably enjoys the beach lifestyle/mates there etc etc. Doesn't seem like that much of a reach TBH.

Who's to say a Hawthorn or Collingwood don't come at him anyway? My point stands, keep him happy, play him in his preferred position.
We will try and keep everyone happy but not by having the tail wag the dog. Jumping at potential shadows will not get us anywhere

I really hope we play Martin and English together. Like, a normal team.....for once.
Hey Fronk or anyone else familiar with him, is Martin still up to it? Like imagine in the fantasy world where Bevo is willing to play two rucks, could Martin play 18-20 games next year or will he just break down or be non competitive around the ground?

Bevo refused to play, Trengove, Sweet, Campbell, is Martin at his age able to offer more than these guys?

Yes

Have to back the club but looked a liability in finals. Hopefully the stories of him being rushed back from injury are true.

I’d imagine he plays against teams that b!tch slapped us in the ruck this year and sits out some

To be fair, nothing in that tweet is inaccurate.
P... off it’s a bloody Bomber press release

If he were any kind of journalist he would ask the obvious question as to why would a player say culture problems influenced his decision then go to a club with a recent history of poor culture. It makes no sense other than $

A journalists job is not to read club press releases

So what do we think is a reasonable price for Treloar? Trade wise and salary wise??

For me? The 5 years is scary. I love him as a player though. Like Chris Paul in the NBA, the size of his contract has confused how good he is as a player. Treloar is awesome.

So..

Salary - $500k is the max I would go to. If we miss out, so be it.

Trade - I’d dangle Richards and a future 3rd. Again, if we can miss, we miss. Gut feel is his value is super low now, and Eddie wants Richards so so bad....

That would leave our Dunkley trade bounty to use elsewhere.

People are quick to bag journalists for portraying opinions as fact but when they openly express an opinion as just that, they get dervied anyway
If it’s an opinion piece that’s fine but Tweets at trade time by journalists are not opinion pieces

700k probably the max I'd go. But obviously the more we pay the cheaper he is.

Richards on his own.

I mean we are paying Bruce 700k. Surely thats fair enough for Treloar too.

Its a very difficult one to put a price on both trade and salary. All I know is that I want him because I want to retain the high calibre midfield that we have.

Most of the football media are just reporting on other journalists reports. It's pathetic.

As I mentioned, nothing in his tweet was out of line, merely a personal preference on what he hopes will occur.

At 500k I'd give them pick 14 straight up. Worth it.

Also no way I'm trading Richards.
