Bombers fans really rate Merrett. I don't see it but if you watch your players every week you get to see things that the casual observer doesn't.

I'm the opposite with Dunkley, I like him but he's a foot soldier not a general. Good luck to him.

Treloar interests me, I wonder if we can find a different role for him. Don't assume he's a midfielder, you know what Bev's like. Look at Picken. His crazy shit works sometimes.

Treloar to ruck confirmed

If pick two is genuinely available then we should be going for that. I know that no one wants to get younger, but Naughton, JUH and McDonald for the next 15 years is ******* insane.
That midfield rotation 😍😍

The more I think about it the less likely it seems Essendon will trade us their 2021 first. I imagine they would be expecting a bottom 5 finish next year and there is a reasonable chance they could end up with pick 1. They simply can not risk trading away a pick that could end up so high.

I think they will work to secure Carlton's future first and hope to appease us with that and something else.

We have the most talented list we've ever had in a long time, and who are we targeting? A 34 year old Stefan Martin, fresh off a worst on ground performance in the prelim, and Mitch Hannan, someone who couldn't get a game for Melbourne (no doubt this is a Beveridge personal pick)

Meanwhile it looks like we will lose Dunkley, who was genuinely one of the top midfielders in 2019, and was held back from that in 2020 by spending extra minutes in the ruck.

smh

If we don't get a gun player in any exchange involving Dunks, we're taking the piss.

Carlton play finals next year. I’ll go insane if that’s the case. Needs to be a top 10er and a player imo.

The pies going for Gunston makes no sense. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a weirder set of moves for a club to make.
Why wouldn't Collingwood chase a proven A-grader? It's kind of what good clubs are supposed to do, especially teams like Collingwood that find themselves with a dearth of key forwards.

Meanwhile we're targeting Mitch Hannan.

I genuinely can’t think of one reason a player would want to go to Essendon besides money. They’re such a meh football club. Daniher was the only one who wasn’t a ripped jean, Instagram partnering w***er. And he couldn’t wait to get out of the joint.

It’s where personalities go to die.

With a massive win for humanity today, suddenly the trade value of Josh Dunkley just doesn’t seem to matter so much..........until first thing tomorrow when I’ll spend all day refreshing Twitter to see where it’s at.
Why? Because your preferred corrupt candidate beat the other corrupt candidate in america?

For me, losing Dunkley is still more annoying.

$$$$$ / brother leverage

What happens in a few years when Essendon come knocking for those three? Do we just cycle them out for some high draft picks and start fantasizing about having player X and Y from the 2025 draft for the next 15 years?

It’s happened once. I don’t have any fears about losing more players to their rabble.

So I've heard that your fine young player Josh Dunkley has finally come to his senses, and wishes to play for the mighty red & black.

Can anyone confirm the reasons why ?
Any truth to the cultural problems rumours ?

Nah, he just wants to finally experience success in footy and he loves the direction the Bombers are going in. So many key learnings acquired throughout the Worsfold years the Bombers are tipped to be the next superpower of the AFL.

We accept the fourth rounder dedoro offers and we go to the draft again.

St Kilda supporters at its best😂😂😂😂

Been told by a very reliable source, that treloar has told collingwood teammates he would like to get to St Kilda in 2021.

I believe Rendell has said similar on radio during the week too.

Adam has been seeing different team mates throughout the week telling them his situation.

We obviously can’t get it done, but we are Treloars club of choice.
Ohh never change Saints

You seriously have to be the worst poster on this board. You’re such a miserable prick, I’d love to see you even say boo to a footy player in real life.
What do you expect from a Braybrook person...lol and even more so considering their jumpers the suburban team uses.

Well, firstly they won't have any salary cap left after paying JD (and others) huge overs for a B/B+ player.
I also can't see that they'll have success as a club to add glister to their severely damaged reputation.
They won't have good young players coming through; they sold all of those draft picks in a desperate trade period.
And if by chance they do manage to come up with a star or two we'll be in a financial position to make an offer!
And if it's not us it will be someone else. Welcome to the jungle.
