Good at getting trades done but they haven't been smart trades like hawks that ake them better. Just high profile which delivers a short term feel good but doesn't produce on the field.
And then makes a mess of morale in the place Kulthcha destroyed

Pick 8 would be a fair price if Josh was out of contract, I reckon. With two years to go on a contract you have to add another first.

The Shiel deal was pick 9 and future first (ended up being 12) for Shiel and a future 2nd. I think that’s about where this will end up if it goes through.

If we get pick 2 we would want to be very very very sure Crows don’t bid on JUH at 1. A Crows bid could set us back 5 years.
We could wait until draft night to do the trades but risk North changing their mind and we’re left with 6&7 and desperately trying to dump them.

That may come after the aforementioned pick 14 for later picks with the Crows and a "handshake" agreement. I hope Naughton enjoys playing defence because McDonald & JUH would be one hell of an enjoyable journey, watching them develop.

Going from Terry Wallace to Rendell has been an enormous downgrade for Trade Radio

We should insist on Essendons first next year. If it’s off the table don’t talk to them.

The only way I’d be happy with Dunkley leaving is if we got Pick #2 and nabbed one of McDonald / Thilthrope with it.

We can and should get Treloar on the cheap if we have to pay for that salary. Future third rounder.
