Really can't see why we would be upset if we get Trealor. Quality player who immediately improves our best 22 with or without Dunkley.

My concern with keeping Dunkley is yes he may be professional but can never be a leader. No issue with holding him to his contract but cannot see a long term role with him now.

Get Trealor and a first round for Dunkley however that works, its a big win for us on all levels.

Dunkley is worth 2 firsts on his own. Treloar in isolation with his current situation is not worth a first. Keep them separate.

Naughton plays best imo as the CHF. English is probably the deep forward alongside JUH.

I don't think Bruce really would gel with any other large forward. He doesn't have the mobility like Naught has to get up the ground.

Don’t have any stats to back it up, but my memory of the St Kilda version of Josh Bruce

was that he was pretty mobile? Seem to recall him taking marks on the wing .....

I think his best role would be as a 3rd tall, suits his strength which is his lead up work.

2 major issues with this, he’s not fit and assume JUH will play that role

Agree it’s really not rocket science. How anyone gets “bullied” into giving up less is beyond me. It really isn’t that hard to say no, neither is laughing in his face and calling out ridiculous offers.

So many red flags with taking on Treloar. The 5 year $4.5m contract has the potential to be a millstone round our neck. Really big gamble even if he was a free agent.

I'd much rather we just backed in West, Vandermeer ,Garcia or someone else to take on that role.

Yeah I think this is fine. Pick 7 could be turned into 2 more firsts (for example St Kildas 2020 and 2021 firsts). Or maybe even fremantles pick 32 + future first.

I don’t like the idea of just splitting 7 to pay for JUH. I honestly believe we should end up with 2 first rounders and the points for JUH. Treloar is a bonus that shouldn’t cost the former.

We have the upper hand here in both trades. Pies are desperate. Bombers need dunkley badly and he's contracted. Power has to tighten the screws hard on both. If we accept 1 first Rd pick from ess I'd lose all faith in power and the club.

Let the bombers split one of their top picks this year, give us the higher one (in teens) which we trade onto pies and they pay 250k of his salary, then demand bombers 1st Rd pick next year and throw back a 4th rd pick from this year or next. Don't settle for anything less from the druggies or just walk from both. Reality is treloar will be great if we lose dunks, we don't need him if dunks stays.
