McStsy , Logue & Darcy Cameron are the 3 trade targets that they are suggesting.
Logue would be my priority as he fills the
KPD that we most desperately need. Although if Bevo would play Cameron I would go after him
Cameron would be perfect for us - I actually think a second ruck/forward is a better fit for us than a pure KPF. Let Naughton lead to the hot spots and get the 2nd forward to stay out of his way and just bring the long ball to ground.

Cant see it happening. He is a lock at Collingwood for the same role and they have more room in the cap than us. Agree hes a good fit for us as he can play both roles really well

CCJ can’t ruck which is a problem and he isn’t a good enough to play solely as a forward. That deal looking silly for North, same with giving Aiden Corr $3m over 5 years.

Didn’t anyone watch the Collingwood game?

Sweet more than held his own against Cameron in the middle.

We should just use our top 8 pick on the best KPD and then get a ruck with our top 26 pick. No need to do anything else.

Busslinger the best KPD but will be gone before our pick unless we can trade up the order. There’s a few KPFs but no other KPDs expected to go in the first round.

We'd need to go the other way if we wanted to get a ruck and KPD with our first two picks, Jackson Broadbent with pick 8-10ish and then Lewis Hayes or James van Es with our second rounder

We would end up with the two best young Rucks from WA? Broadbent could start playing as a ruck forward…. Darcy looks better as a ruck/KPD, so it would make sense.

Can always take a KPF and attempt to make them into a KPD similar physical attributes just requires a mental adjustment. Take best available Tall option, and a developing ruck

Is Broadbent projected to go that early? The draft watchers I read have him at the end of first round so maybe downgrade to improve in the 2nd round (unless we win the flag of course).

This year is the best year to be active in trade and draft with a better group of players coming out of contract, FAs etc. Also with a full season of draftees playing for recruiters to get a better idea on skills and abilities. If dogs need to balance the list it is this season.

Find it interesting now re Logue and his positioning. Still think he stays a docker.

But he Has turned into a pretty decent forward.
Thought he had an absolute mare of a game apart from his pressure & tackling tbh, his disposal is horrendous and he’s not a particularly strong mark - just don’t see any weapons with this guy that says he’s going to be any better than an average tall

4 years at 600k, happy with that.

Tim English on a 2 year deal.
Not all that thrilled with either to be honest. I was hoping for the rumored three year deal for Tim. 2 years will fly by and we'll be back in the exact same situation again very soon, except with absolutely no leverage and a free agent English.

Caleb has shown to be a real liability this year and is very replaceable IMO. The years and contract are fine only if it's not at the expense of other players.

English was always going to sign for 2 years as most if not all similar players would. They then look for a longer term deal when free agency arrives and they can sign their last real contract where they can command the $ and years.

Caleb is a 4 year deal not sure if $600K is correct as it is a guess based on ?????

A player who’s two years away from free agency is going to sign a two-year deal. It doesn’t make any sense to do otherwise.
