Acres having a burner, not sure why were not all in on a package of all 3 of Logue, Lobb & Acres. Cap space no issue Dunks & JJ and Hunter if possible, all off the books. Could easily work all 3 in and still take a top 10 pick to the draft to draft the best mid and along with Jones completely rejuvenate all 3 lines

We might not have the list spots having signed up Hannan and McComb late in the season …

No Hannan was only signed for 2023 (along with Bedendo and Buku at the time).

I just don’t get why that couldn’t have been a post-season resigning. Seems like a good bloke and is hard working but if he’s on anything more than draftee wages then I’d rather the draftee and the extra dollars for Dunks, West, Darcy extension, etc. it was also bizarrely timed after he’d missed an extended period with concussion and was going to be brought back into a backline role he’d never played before.

Also Logue is a terrible forward, I still think he’s massively overrated, late first at best but he’s much better than anything we have down back.

Jones/Gardner, Logue & Keath/Darcy/Buku down back. Lobb deep with Naughty & Jamarra switching between FF & traditional CHF. Timmy in the ruck with a chop out from Lobb.

Acres on one wing & hope Williams refinds his form on the other (with Bedendo hot on his tail if he doesn’t)

Just need to find some more speed & silk for the forward line (Rowe ain’t it) and please for the love of god no more small, slow &/or shit by foot flankers - McComb, VDM, Roarke, Hannan, McNeil (for now, may come good) never to be seen again.

Surely watching these teams makes it clear you just cannot afford to carry one never mind multiple of these types of rubbish smalls on your outside flanks/wings

Tbf haven’t followed how he’s been travelling since drafted but he’s behind a number of good smalls at Freo

One more genuine specialist small to go with a combo of Cody, West & McLean to round out the forward line would be nice

Even if we don't get any more than the mentioned players above, you can't accuse us of just sitting on our hands.

Rowe not even worth mentioning as a genuine target who improves us, he’s likely delisted from a bottom 4 team. Jones as well is a delisted FA whose 32.

Lobb agreed if we do get him it probably improves us, overall though that’d be extremely lacklustre and factoring in the departure of Dunks wed arguably have gone backwards

Ollie Henry & Rowe are not even in the same ball park one will likely be a DFA. But sure Henry’s no superstar and I’m not expecting superstars, but point still stands that we can’t sit on our hands or go backwards when the teams around us all seem to be improving
