I’m ok with this, but he’s still not the solution.According to some Lions supporters, Dogs asking the question about Gardiner
He’s a free agent so it should have no influence on any Dunkley deal.According to some Lions supporters, Dogs asking the question about Gardiner
Your intel is the Dunkley trade involves a player coming our way? And a pick or like for like?

Crozier gives me steak knives vibes. I loved him a couple of years ago but just isn’t working anymore. Seems a lovely bloke wish him all the best. Are we still keen on Rowe if we are targeting a player in the Dunkley trade? Means a few ins if that is the case. Jones, Lobb, Rowe, random player for Dunkley trade. Plus a few picks. Probably means pretty well everyone except Duryea and Cordy who has not signed on is gone. Plus Crozier.
Get the feeling Crozier might actually play on with us next year after some of his posting on Instagram. Are we still keen on Rowe if we are targeting a player in the Dunkley trade? Honestly don't think the market is that hot for him hence if he's still a back up may as well stay where you areGet the feeling Crozier might actually play on with us next year after some of his posting on Instagram.
Yep 100% It'll be one of the first trades done imo. He will have made sure to ask 1st How much cash are you giving me? 2nd What are you trading to get me? then based his decision on which of these works best with the clubAlso does anyone else feel like our hardline stance with Dunkley last time has served us well here, in that it seems like he's keen to get a deal done behind the scenes before announcing anything? It could actually be the case for once that the player will go where a deal can be made to suit us.

I think that as a rule you don't want to tie any B or C grade talent into an A grade trade. It is better to keep them separate. If we did manage to include Bergman in a deal for Dunkley, what are people's expectations for what kind of pick we'd get on top? Ignoring for a second what picks Port actually has (shouldn't be too hard to find another with other deals going on).
Watching it live, really sealed Gardiner for meGardiner did a number on Fritsch last week.
Agreed whenever I've seen him he looks slow and unsure of what he's doing and is prone to a brain fade tooWatching it live, really sealed Gardiner for me
Thought he was just a battler in a good system
You think a mid who has played 7 games in his 3rd year (granted year 1 was QLD hubs and granted he’s in the team now) has improved from pick #22 to an early first? I’m not saying he’s a dud but he’s not a first rounder.Should have been a first rounder, invited to the first night of the draft but was the only player not selected.
I'd say late first. The kid can play

Yes he “slid” and would have been in some teams top 18 players list (which happens every year) but there were still 21 players selected ahead of him.
Port board seem to think part of him sounding out Port is making sure a deal can actually get done (he's been scarred by last time with Essendon)Also does anyone else feel like our hardline stance with Dunkley last time has served us well here, in that it seems like he's keen to get a deal done behind the scenes before announcing anything? Sure but they might not do the deal separately. Bergman might only be available to us as a part of the Dunkley deal.I think that as a rule you don't want to tie any B or C grade talent into an A grade trade. It is better to keep them separate.
So I would say pick 8 in for Dunkley and a very late first/early second out for Bergman.
We already kick 7.21 every game and you want to add Castagna's 1.4 to that? It’s hard to find a Cyril Rioli type these days. Before Castagna was a dud this season, his fwd pressure was great. Could come cheaply?
I prefer our Gardner to their GardinerA backline of Jones, Gardiner (Brisbane’s) and Darcy would be quite nice. Keath and our Gardiner as depth.
That’s if Keath is still banged up next year.
