That’s just even more confusing then - why on earth was it ever questioned if all the other AFL programs are happy for him to participate?

My gripe with this matter isn’t really targeted at Sanders mind you. There’s many others who have absolutely no business being in academies while Sanders very well might (Blakey the most egregious there’s ever been, though that was the Northern academies)

I would’ve given Raak another year due a deep list cut but I’m also not going to lose sleep over it.

I’m glad they’ve moved on from O’Brien.

No issue with Raak going, had been moved out of the backline into a spot with absolutely no need at afl level

We have had a bad bad habit of keeping people a year too long, nice to see that changing

Good decision on all three. Can understand some wanted Raak to have another year but I didn’t see any qualities in the VFL to suggest he’d be at AFL level one day. All the best to them

I probably would have given Raak one more year, got some decent attributes but to be fair his output even at VFL level is just non existent and there’s really no pathway into senior footy here, not sure what role he’s suited for. Was he definitely still a cat B?

Glad we made the decision already on TOB, he’s genuinely trash at AFL level and super injury prone, waste of a list spot and the sort of calls we need to be making. Not even good enough as depth would rather literally any kid from the draft in that list spot.
