Not ideal that we picked up their list manager in the offseason then!Mind boggling. Their list is a mess.

Generally by the second or third contract and especially if players are being headhunted by other clubs, they actually lose matchies and instead move to a salary. I’d hope Bukes moves to that structure to guarantee his cash.Good luck to Buku. Worst case scenario, he gets a nice salary bump to move over, gets more regular AFL games and the match payments that come with that. AFL is a short career; make hay while the sun is shining.
He is from South Australia probably wants to go homeMind boggling. Their list is a mess.
If he really wanted to go home, he'd be heading to Cotton OnHe is from South Australia probably wants to go home

I can't remember if this was Lobb or Bevo relaying it, but the story went along the lines of;His managers comments alone probably ensured Bevo won't play him again, he really hates that stuff.
Not exactly one I’ll be losing sleep overApparently Port Adelaide are leading the chase for Wehr

We all know Silvangi will end up at CollingwoodI think buku out and jack Silvagni in as a free agent is very good list management from the dogs if that’s how it ends up playing out.
Jack for free (no picks) and buku for a 3rd or pick upgrade is nice work
Agreed - I wouldn't be trading him for anything less than a second rounder. He's played nearly twice the games as Leek Aleer in the last 2 seasons and I'm fairly certain the Saints will be offering at least a second round pick for him - and Aleer isn't contracted.I personally think we could get a second rounder for Khamis. He is contracted.
Khamis can also play at either end. He’ll be a real asset for whoever gets him. An early Second rounder has to be the price tag.Agreed - I wouldn't be trading him for anything less than a second rounder. I tend to agree. It needs to be a pick around 30-35 which will be pushed back into the late 40’s anyway.I personally think we could get a second rounder for Khamis. He is contracted.
Why not stick to their winning strategy of the past 20 years? Why would a club like Essendon want to draft fringe mid- 20 s types?
Khamis would actually be of more help to a club like us.
The Western Bulldogs are growing in confidence they could land Blues hybrid Jack Silvagni, despite Collingwood remaining the favourites.

"Hybrid"?! Is this a new buzz-word?![]()

Difference being Buku is contracted. We were kissed on the D when we got a 2nd from Norf for Caleb Daniel, we’re not getting one for Buku. He’s a mid 20s fringe player leaving for playing time, we’ll get a late pick or pick upgrade. We paid a future 4th for Taylor Duryea, think along those lines.
This year.Serious question. When did Jack Silvagni become anything but the middling failson he's always been.
Seems like a Jackson Trengove move to me. But at least he had a best and fairest to his name.
Collingwood are welcome to him.
I’m not sure you’ll be swayed from your views, which given how inconsistent Jack has been over his career is fair enough, but genuinely he showed a lot down back this year.Serious question. When did Jack Silvagni become anything but the middling failson he's always been.

Hope team Silvagni aren't using the dogs as leverage for a better deal with Collingwood. Wouldn't be the first time.

Believe Caleb still had 2025 left on his deal when we traded him. Amazing how that worked out for us and Caelb, he got another 3 years on his existing deal and we got a 2nd rounder.Difference being Buku is contracted.
And with so much uncertainty with JUH, I’d be expecting the club to secure overs for Buku.
