We’ll have him! Want Liam Ryan?!?

Maybe Matt Flynn?

Jokes aside. Unlucky today lads. For obvious reasons I was team dogs today.

Garcia for Liam Ryan actually makes a bit of sense for both clubs...

It’s definitely time to move on from the high press . Probably was about 4 years ago tbh
Abandoning the high press without the right cogs in the machine would be a mistake. Our offense relies way too much on that overwhelming surge.

This would slip us down to the 11-13 Range. To avoid this the club must ruthlessly pursue a Suitable HB (Potentially Crofty can take one for the team if pickings are slim) and an ELITE FB on the rise or established. (Weitering, Frost)

It’s time to try something new mate it hasn’t worked for us the last 4 years why keep beating a dead horse ?

No one is a bigger advocate for abandoning the High press than me. I say it basically every result that it cost us.

However, we don't exactly have all the parts to do it properly. That's why us landing some actual sizeable defensive units this off-season is essential.

Busslinger is either a Bust or is a slow learner at AFL level and Lobb doesn't have the effective pace to catch up to his man when caught out. Which frequently happens when he mindlessly places himself 4 metres back from his opponent.

If we don't have the numbers to flood the fifty, we don't score enough to make up for our horrendously bad backline. This is a Drafting/Recruiting error and it's forced us into this.

Zac Bailey is another one that we need to have a big chunk of $ on the table for at the end of next season when he is free agent (I believe).

Brisbane keep bringing in players on decent money and are doing it again with Oscar Allen this year. With all of their young guns needing big pay rises soon, surely it forces a Zac Bailey or another high profile player out. Kudos to Brisbane though, they have great retention and are up there with Geelong and luring players up there to play for them.

Delist or trade Busslinger, cant run, too slow, caught out of position multiple times and has been so much of a liability he has been subbed two weeks in a row
I genuinely do not see how he makes it.

Slow with a lack of physicality is just a horrible combination for a KPD. The only hope would be an intercepting 3rd tall role.

Can we beg Richmond to trade us Vlaustin? Like sob and grovel and beg? I'm willing to get VERY pathetic in their eyes so they cave.

We need to train Croft as a back. He realds the ball very well & he's a footballer .

Nautgton, Darcy and West were doing fine before he came aling Poulter is nearly there as an extra option.
Weightman may return .
Arty showed more in 10 minutes than 6 games of McNeil.

We dont need three big men forward, it's gilding the lily.

His dire to watch way too slow to play as the KPD looks like he is running in concrete

Can't blame JOD and Bus if you're not also blaming the extremely experienced Lobb. It's our mismanagement. Bus could have about 10 more games to his name but we never picked him. They're both unbelievably young too for that level of responsibility. This is on us and the unfortunate loss of Liam Jones

McNeil isn’t a Power problem it’s a weak point in Bevo that no one seems willing to address. If you are on the good side Bevo just keeps playing you. Bad side and you won’t get back. It’s like trying to get rid of Bubba. Bevo had an absolute conniption but it had to be done. Can we revisit whether we keep grant or Bevo in the power play stakes please? I’d like a do-over……
this is my argument with VDM... he kept breaking down during games, wasn't getting the ball, turns it over but would be picked the next week... very confusing from the sidelines for us supporters

I know we don’t like how Dunkley and Smith left, particularly the latter, and that we got hosed by their new clubs in the trades. But it’s difficult to argue against their decisions at this stage.

It would concern me massively if I were in the footy department at WO. Are we going to be able to keep our young stars if we keep dishing up the same each season? How can we make this club an attractive destination for a good KPD given how little value we seem to place on defense?

We stopped doing it as much against GWS few weeks go and well.. look at the result.
Would have beaten Fremantle comfortably if we didn't do it. It's ridiculous Beveridge keeps up this garbage.

Made good strides when we had so many injuries early in the year and when we got players back went to back to the same bullshit.

Oh well...

I'm moving to my new house tomorrow and have a shit load to do ao my focus is elsewhere anyway.
