Don’t hate Freijah, but concerned with how he handles himself when the pressure is dialled right up in games. Reminds me of Lipinksi. Would need to toughen up considerably if he’s to play as amid long term.

Crazy comment. He stepped up plenty times in big / close games this year. See early round vs Collingwood and last game vs Freo

Wasn’t Freijah close to BOG in the Hawks final last year and Freo game last week? If that’s not handling pressure I’m not sure what is.

No mate, I was responding to the fact a poster said a player had re-signed for X amount of years and is contracted.

Same applies with Wilkie.

It’s a shame really contracts don’t mean much now,
Except the club has more bargaining power.

You mean like when the pressure was dialled right up in the Sydney game when we almost lost to a bottom 8 side and he kicked 4 goals in a quarter?

I will be sick if we do not keep Treloar on our list. He has bled red white and blue since coming over and loves our club to death, it would be an incredibly huge dishonour and disrespect towards him if we toss him out like Collingwood did.

I am so against it I cannot even put it into words.

Trading an ageing bloke who can't get on the park who plays in a midfield bristling with talent is exactly what a good club would do. It would be dishonourable and disrespectful to the team, club and supporters to keep players who we don't need/want because they are good blokes.
I'm not saying we should trade him, just that we can't afford to make list decisions based on anything but how much closer it gets us to a flag.
