They are very good, but all wrapped up in contracts out to 2027. We are likely only probing for Wilkie also contracted to 2027, due to the Saints throwing money like it's going out of fashion.

Mofra's assessment is pretty much spot on, I'd maybe only add Laverde if you think his 1v1 drop off is team related. It's slim pickings if you want to get someone with an average to good defensive 1v1 record, stable behind the ball and actually a feasible trade.

Interesting,l thought when free agency came in the dogs, saints, roos and dee's would never attract the big name players like the other 6 Victorian clubs. This has been fairly true the dee's got Lever and May fairly big trades and now saints have got TDK. Plus ADZ fell into our lap. So maybe it is highly unlikely the four mentioned teams can attract the big names but not impossible. See how we go with Butters that would really debunk the theory.
