Heard from a reliable source that we have met with Zak Jones who is among the disgruntled Saints players. Our thinking is that he comes in as another enforcer in the Harmes, Kennedy mould (albeit a less skilled version). Would bring a hard edge to the team.
Solid user name to content correlation on this post.

I rarely get news of any note, but caught up with some old school mates this week. One was (briefly) a senior AFL player, even more briefly an assistant coach, then worked in the offices of a player manager (less briefly than his other outings!). He's still in regular touch with some industry mates. The only thing of note he mentioned was that Curnow's management have met with Brisbane a number of times throughout the year. Other than that, all he had was that for all his onfield histrionics, Sicily is viewed by oppo players as a good bloke, while Ginnivan is viewed as the exact opposite (not sure on the sample size!). Had no Bulldogs insights at all, sadly.

If Curnow ends up a Brisbane, cancel the comp

Oscar Allen as a kpd, naughts needs to get him over here.

Yet another endless salary cap!!@!!!!
And yet our salary cap is going pretty well too. Don't be surprised if lots is going on behind the scenes. Power and his team are good at keeping quiet about who they are interested in attracting. (Don't bet on them talking to Zac Jones tho :winkv1: )

I do sometimes think it’s odd when I read other comments that seem to suggest that Sam and the team may not actually be ‘having a go’ behind the scenes. I mean what do people think they actually do all day 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

Oscar Allen looks pretty damn cooked but Brissy get the best out of guys with a history of injuries so he'll play 100 games for them.

Hey everyone, I come in peace

Have heard some rumours about Buku being linked with St Kilda

From what I've seen, he's a decent third tall whether it'd be up forward or down back but my question is, can he play as a lockdown small defender? He's a bit small at 189cm for a third tall although I am aware that he's very athletic. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Good luck for this weekend, huge game! Cheers

Defensive running is probably his biggest weakness so I'm not sure how good he'd be playing on most smalls. Whether he stays or goes, I wish him a great career, but I think it'll be as a forward.

He is not very athletic and is a fairly poor defender,

He would be a solid 2nd fiddle KPF in the right team where his lack of agility and pressure isn't as exposed

No, can pinch hit as an intercept defender but does his best work up forward.

He could play typical intercept defender after a preseason there but certainly not accountably on smalls! Dear God no

As a defender his best work is as an intercept defender. He's very good in the air for his size.

His best work is probably as an inside F50 forward. He's a ripping fella and the playing group love him. Probably fills that Membrey-void at St Kilda if he went there.

We've been saying this since he was drafted,

He will be 26 next year and shown very little ability to read the play well enough as an interceptor and his disposal after leaves a lot to be desired unlike a Stewart/Vlastuin type

He will be a handy KPF for a struggling side and depth for a decent one
