Any updates on Wilkie or butts?

Take a couple of Bex and have a lie down , you are not well !If not previously, he'd certainly be looking to get away from the current dumpster fire there.
It's so bad there I almost feel bad for them. Almost.

Thought it would be Kelly. Lade was also on the short list.Steven King new Melbourne coach.
Yes. My mistake. So, to see where else I went wrong I went back and looked took over his form leading up to his injury and his form ranged from good where he hit the scoreboard to pretty quiet where he didnt. In the end I think he only missed a single game before the lead up to finals. However, Im not sure that even with the bye it would've been wise to play him within two weeks of his injury. But my initial point stands. He wouldn't have been the difference to us winning and losing a final by 6 goals.Didn’t West have a broken jaw which put him out then only played VFL after that? (Though his VFL form was ordinary as you say)
It lives and dies when smiley wantsGeez, this thread is dead![]()
Also only had 1 goal 12 disposals in the vfl game as wellYes. My mistake. Having said that, I was wrong about him being dropped. So its plausible that I could be wrong about Rylee making a 6 goal difference regardless of his patchy form leading into finals.
There you go. I was wrong again. They did play him within 2 weeks of fracturing his jaw. Also only had 1 goal 12 disposals in the vfl game as well
Would like to think it helped him this year become the player he isThere you go. I was wrong again. They did play him within 2 weeks of fracturing his jaw.
R U OK day was yesterday, Norm...
And McNeil, gags and Vdm all had an amazing game showing how valuable players they are and the mind boggles how they missed out being an AA. In reality we all knew the 3 would deliver far less than a slightly underperforming West whose poor games is still far better than those VFL stars.Would like to think it helped him this year become the player he is
If Treloar was available for the last game then sure. But he wasn't. West also didn't play well in his last VFL game and wasn't playing well in his last few games before he got injured. He was barely impacting games. His last 6 games he only kicked 3 goals.West should have played last year, like Treloar should have played this year. He wasn’t quite as good as he was this year, but he had runs on the board and was worth taking a risk with.
McNeil’s two worst games are probably those two games. There are a couple of others who were predictably poor in that Hawks final that West could have played over.
It’s funny - there’s a defence of the selection of certain players revolving around ‘yeah they don’t get the stats but they’re critical for structure’ - this did not apply to West who had a proven record making life difficult for interceptions players, as well as being a genuine goal scoring threat himself. Instead, Sicily absolutely tore his direct opponent up and was highly influential.
Mistakes were made. Lessons were not learned. What worse outcome could have occurred had we taken risks? What better outcome might have been more likely to be obtained?
Anyway.
Given they chose not to play him and their defence has been shit house, how so?Butts is not chance to leave Adelaide after their performance tonight. Their defence has been shithouse
He would've done a hell of a better job on GunstonGiven they chose not to play him and their defence has been shit house, how so?
Yes and his club did not trust him. Gives us a much bigger opportunityHe would've done a hell of a better job on Gunston

We did he chose HawthornGeeee. Glad we didn't go all out for Barrass. Was too risky. Some people honestly.![]()
