Ah you’re right, forgot Freo traded 15 to WCE. I think Eagles would be more likely to take Dovaston in that case.

Losing Jamarra becomes easier to swallow if it turns the trade into Darcy and he becomes a decent prospect.

Absolutely just guessing.

They may have their eyes on a speculative prospect slated in the 20s at the moment so very confident he'll still be there. Makes more sense if they were trying to trade up to 6 which might not be possible now with Petracca going to GC. Especially for this draft after the first 5-7 players, seems pretty even.

Pick 37 is separately set to be used by the Dogs to get a deal done for Connor Budarick

I would imagine purely as a Jones replacement for list build purposes and a break glass option for the 1s. Wouldn’t have been my ideal option but I’m not mad about it either.
