I think he could be a good inside midfielder with opportunities, he shouldn't get those opportunities here. We've got more than a few ahead of him. West Coast really feels like the best bet for him

Not convinced he is capable of playing a wing role or even half forward. Think he would have got games at Brisbane if he was serviceable on the wing. I did think the same about Harmes and he has been ok on the wing, just been super unlucky with his body the past two years

I think this is reading too much into it for Robertson than just having interest in one bloke among the others among the large number of recycled/delisted/cheaply acquired players. He just happens to be the one that balances out depth/role by providing something we don't have much of. It's going to be a stock standard 2 year min deal + 3rd year trigger/bonus if plays well and cements himself in the team, hardly the thing to overthink.

Could Dev Robbo be utilised as a physical, shutdown mid? He has the physical tools for sure, his disposal does seem to be lacking.

Yep. In one of the finals in 2023 he turned on beast mode and shut down Petracca in the second half and got the lions over the line.

I'd be happy with Robertson as a delisted free agent or token 4th Round pick, but pass at anything more then base salary and draft capital.
Defensively he has alot to offer but not much offensively, also is slow as treacle. Handy for that 25th-30th list spot though.

He shouldn't cost too much but doubt he'd be delisted. Would be great depth.

He's not the best user but runs hard and tackles hard. And I've always thought of him as pretty fast?

Six years on Brisbane's list without looking like establishing himself as a regular senior player. Would he do any better with us or just continue to be a fringe player mostly plying his trade in the VFL? I suppose being out of contract and keen to move he could indeed come cheap. The question is, would he improve us?

We are light on for KPDs. Any fringe KPD coming to us would be an excellent chance of getting a run. Yet the KPDs we are looking at are not expressing interest.
We have a very good crop of mids. Any fringe mids coming to us to be hard pressed to get a game. Yet they seem interested. Baffling

There’s no OOC contract key defenders.

Butts is contracted and realistically has a chance at a Crows best 22 spot next year.

Tylar Young was the OOC option but seems we’re not keen on him for whatever reason.

I feel like once Wilkie eventually announces he’s turned our offer down, we’ll hear about other options more.
