West Coast are offering their priority pick (end of 1st round) to Brisbane for Starcevich. Could potentially get involved there, using our 2nd + Buku pick to get it off Brisbane as they need points for Annable anyway, then on trade that to Adelaide for Butts.

It’s “overs” but I couldn’t give a ****, at least we’d have good defensive structure next year

I'd say they're worth similar with the Contract of Khamis giving him slightly more weight on top of that. Obviously never this simple but potentially Khamis for 37 ontraded to Suns for Budarick and 57 (currently has no points attached but likely comes in enough to cover Darcy)

I see it as a massive bonus to have three mobile key forwards. Imagine the headaches it causes for opposition backlines.

Look at Hawthorn, Adelaide, Fremantle they all run three KPF's and the future trend for Brisbane once they gain Oscar Allen.

Logan Morris and Ty Gallop are shorter than some of MIDFIELDERS let alone our 200cm+ key forwards. Terrible comparison.

Logan Morris is 191cm btw. The same height as Joel Freijah.

If we are confident in getting Butters as a FA next year then it actually makes sense for us to move on out 2026 1st. It effectively lessens the chance that Port match our bid to force a trade as we won't have a whole lot to send back above what they'd get as FA compo.

If that is the case id do something like
2026 1st amd 3rd for Butts and 2026 2nd

All we need to do is finish ahead of Port in 2026 and their free agency compo would be better than our 2026 first.

Listed heights can be such BS. Jack Macrae still listed at 192cm and I don't think anyway of us can say he is taller than Logan Morris.

Yes Logan Morris and Sam Darcy play and move exactly the same.

Ty Gallop -> Aaron Naughton (Draw both very athletic)
Oscar McInerny -> Sam Darcy ( Sam Darcy vastly superior athlete)

No 3 talls isn't an issue

Naughton is taller the Gallop. Croft is of a similar height to McInerney but more mobile. And Darcy and Morris are as far apart as 2 "Key Position" players can get.

Is Joel Freijah a Key Forward if he stands in the forward line?

Also once again when was the last time a team won a flag with 3 pure KPF? (2 of whom are 200cm+)
