I know we need a kpd but I am not wanting Nay from Melbourne. News.com.au is reporting Demons have told him to leave and they link him to us but I see him as too disruptive

If we ended up with May I would mostly detach from the Dogs until he was gone. He is that much of a cancer.

I refuse to watch as we risk imploding from within, all for a player that, being incredibly generous based on the latter half of this year, is past his best.

Jaiden Stephenson anyone?

Jaiden Stephenson anyone?
In all seriousness, there's a few clubs that should strongly consider him.

He clearly has the talent to play as a damaging small/half forward in a top 8 team. Stephenson clearly took the piss a bit and didn't have the right dedication for an AFL environment. A year out of the system may have given him some perspective and maturity that he didn't have when he was younger. Still only 26...

Something that works in his favour is he always seemed to be of good character to go with his enormous talent, just unmotivated.

Carlton took a gamble on Moir who was described similarly, and it’s looking positive so far. I could see them taking a punt at Stephenson

Wanted him in his draft year... but one of those guys who plays well when the team is on fire but struggles when team isn't playing well. Hence, Collingwood vs Nth

He'll be a SPP option for a team I bet. A few at north would have had really low confidence playing and losing so many games that playing every week felt like a chore. The environment at north must be pretty bad.

From memory, he was quite good snapping around goals, but did fade out of games a fair bit. Might have matured a bit with a break from the game
He can play but as others have said he has been extremely unmotivated in the past. I'd imagine he gets told to play a season at VFL before a club is willing to have a crack.

If only there was a VFL club renowned for testing these types of players through their program before being considered for a MSD/SSP spot. Sound familiar?

Honestly I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of offering him a spot on the VFL list and if he has come in motivated and working hard then giving him a look at the MSD.

He has a ton of talent which doesn't just go away and if he is more mature then why not.

I have heard very much the exact opposite to this.
There's a reason nobody was interested last year period.

Well damn, this seems to happen a lot with footy players :/
The opposite happens to good people though. Not just Tom Campbell. North kept Hrovat on in an admin role after they delisted him. Same club, different treatment of a player.
