I think 2 years is a bit of a stretch, but 1 year deal would be suitable. I don't see many other other clubs offering more than that so we hold the cards and if another club offered him more than that I would say thank you for your services and wish him all the best. After yesterday we should 100% be offering Bakes 1 if not 2 years, his pressure is elite, we need players like him on our list. You don’t truely see how quick he is until you watch him at ground level live. He’s never going to be a top 5 player but he’s depth we need.
Historically we've started delistings on a Monday, but I'm not sure if that changes with the VFL GF being yesterday. If I had to guess I'd imagine players that didn't play yesterday will have their exit interviews today, with those who did later in the week, but I'd only be guessing.I would assume delistings would start today? As harsh as that sounds after a GF win in the VFL!

Poulter is not great when the ball is below his knees.Poulter still only being 22 may save him depending on other list decisions we make.
But I still don’t really see a position for him. On paper he’s a tall gut running marking wing. On paper he is also a mobile third tall forward that can hit the scoreboard and push up the ground.
Then you get to reality and what he produces and he just seems like a tweener, Jarrad Grant-ish type that doesn’t really have a role at afl level. We have options at both positions that are better (Davidson, Croft).
i suspect we’re now past the period of enticement with Poulter as a prospect. probably arrive at the same conclusion Collingwood did. But might be one of those guys where his future is dependent on other list calls.
He is never going to make it,Poulter still only being 22 may save him depending on other list decisions we make.

Poulter might get an extra year with Buku requesting a trade. They were both competing for that 3rd tall role in different stages of the year.Poulter still only being 22 may save him depending on other list decisions we make.

Contracted, so we'll take one of their good players - Weitering thanks.Buku has requested a trade. Official
I'd give him a contract and rotate him through that HF role we seem set to play as a purely defensive type (that McNeill/VDM role). After yesterday we should 100% be offering Bakes 1 if not 2 years, his pressure is elite, we need players like him on our list. 2nd rounder either this year or nextFirstly congrats on your VFL victory. Overall what are your thoughts on BK fitting in with the Carlton list? Both clubs are pretty good with trading with one another reasonably in the last few times we've dealt with one another, if in fact you do desire to trade a contracted BK what is fair, or what are you seeking?
I don't think it'd be too awkward, the club would be well aware this was coming, he was at the VFL grand final celebrations yesterday and it was all good. Like a overwhelming majority of trades it's just best for both parties and everyone is happy.Won't Buku be at the Brownlow tonight, considering he is a mark of the year nominee? Awkward.
Wish him all the best. Will miss cheering his name
Doubt there would be any bad blood between him or the players/club. He’s loved at the kennel and it makes sense why he’s looking elsewhere for opportunity. Not every club has a Sam Darcy or Aaron Naughton.Won't Buku be at the Brownlow tonight, considering he is a mark of the year nominee? Awkward.
