If Butters comes to us and Port bottom out and accept FA compo, then I will accept there is an all powerful Dog watching over us.
Do you see Walker as a fwd long term? Disappointing if so. If we see him as a legitimate third defender for the future I'd love him back there developing as much as possible. Otherwise think your arrangement looks good. Hoping to see some of Carmichael, Jaques, and Sellwood pushing for spots in the back 7 at AFL level at some point this season.AFL:
FB: Bramble, Busslinger, Lobb
HB: Dale, O’Donnell, Budarick
7th: Cleary
Wing: Williams
Mid/Fwd: Freijah
VFL:
FB: Sellwood, Gardner, Coffield
HB: Carmichael, Emmett, Jaques
7th: W. Darcy
Wing: Baker (could be in the 1’s)
Wing: Gallagher
Fwd: Khamis
Fwd: Walker
I don't think this is necessarily the correct way of framing this.AFL:

He ain’t Robinson Crusoe there old mateButters loves Bont and Libba so much![]()
No I do not, his is the only position I dislike. Swapping him & Gardner would be fine to me.Do you see Walker as a fwd long term? Disappointing if so. I think committing to two developing KPDs in Emmett and Darcy means two things:No I do not, his is the only position I dislike. Swapping him & Gardner would be fine to me.
However, two bags of 4 goals was impressive and maybe they seem as a forward long term?
Croft is another interesting fwd or back
I don’t mind the idea of moving Coffield upto a wing as a final dice role, much like we seen with Poulter's move forward this year.Otherwise, Coffield is the one I'd be tempted to push up the field to allow the youngsters to develop in their natural positions.
With Buss have more shoulder surgery, we might even see him start in the VFL againI think committing to two developing KPDs in Emmett and Darcy means two things:
1. Gardner needs to stay in defence as a mature, guiding head to support our huge amount of developing defenders;
2. Croft is, at least for the short to medium term, a key forward.
I suspect that Emmett supports Smith in the ruck and Carmichael plays solid mid minutes, opening up roles in defence for Walker if he's viewed as a defender. Otherwise, Coffield is the one I'd be tempted to push up the field to allow the youngsters to develop in their natural positions.
A terrible start for him. Another preseason unable to build upper body strength or work on the physicality that he desperately needs. With Buss have more shoulder surgery, we might even see him start in the VFL again

One of the guys on Woof mentioned he was virtually unsighted in match sim the other day. Something like a single handball in 25+ minutes of play.Emmett is pretty developed for a young tall. Could see games this year
I tried to join a few years ago. Seems almost impossible for someone of my very low digital skill set to manage. Also by other reports by those who can actually get in it seems pretty heavily gate kept with lots of rules around engagement, although I can't comment personally on this as I never actually got into the thing. One of the guys on Woof mentioned he was virtually unsighted in match sim the other day. On a side note, highly recommend joining Woof, especially for this time of year
