Clarke first and Cunningham with our second would be very nice indeed.

Hate how the Hawks landed two first rounders. Likely getting Collins and Hibberd.m
I`ve liked Clarke and Gresham since the champs.

Agree with Collins and Hibberd the obvious ones but Hawks may take Rioli as well due to Cyril family ties and because they showed Jed Anderson the door .

I read today that theres a rumour going around that Hibbered doesnt want to move west.
Can't stand when prospective draftees make comment about where they don't want to go. Because it would be so terrible to come and learn from one of two teams over here who are both top 4. It just makes them look immature and probably not only stops us from considering drafting them but other clubs as well. If I were a recruiter I'd want a player who would give their all no matter what team they were playing for.

Why not?. Obviously if you are not rated as first round talent, you should be happy to just be drafted. There is no doubt that Victorians would rather stay in their home state, rather than move to a completely new environment.
I have no issue with players leaving, but as long as you repay your worth before you leave
Might get shot down by some on here, but Judd did more than enough to warrant returning home, considering he told both WA clubs he didn't want to leave prior to the draft, and re-itterated that point when he got the captaincy in 2006
Its more the guys like Aish that leave after 2 years, although if that is the attitude those players have to sticking it out then I don't think they will end up superstars anyway

Is he going to last until our pick anyway?
He might, he might not.

I hate it too and thats why i have a strong dislike for Wingard and Aish. On my most occassions, it says a bit about a players character.

It's draft eve and I have no idea who we will take. Normally we have a pretty good idea who we'll take (Duggan, Sheed for example) but not this year, probably because we don't have a first round pick. Makes it a bit more exciting in one sense, but less as well because I haven't bothered watching any draftee videos.

Hibbered is from tasmainia and he should be happy to move where ever he gets drafted. Dont know whats he complaining about, as perth is A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THAT DUMP.

Where did you hear this ? Because it's BS
  1. West Coast – David Cunningham
Club: Oakleigh Chargers (Vic Metro)
Position: Outside midfielder
Height: 184cm
Weight: 80kg

Key Stats: Averaged 19.3 disposals in 11 games in the TAC Cup

Speedy midfielder David Cunningham has shot up into Top 30 contention after a solid season for Oakleigh. With a lack of pace in this year’s draft crop, Cunningham provides a good option for clubs looking for speed and dash. Cunningham was eighth at the National Combine, running 2.91 seconds in the 20m sprint. Cunningham isn’t a high disposal winner, but is silky smooth in the midfield and works hard to clear the ball from stoppages. Cunningham is suited to playing on the outside, but has worked in the centre of the ground for Vic Metro during the Under 18 Championships.

In the mix? West Coast are believed to be keen on Mitchell Hibberd, but word floating around is that he’s not keen on going west.

Duggan was a handful of names in contention last year. This time last year it was cockatoo and leverde that most predicted for eagles to land.

Confused. Are you agreeing with me? "Why not?" says you aren't but the rest of your reply says you are. Maybe I am reading it wrong. If Hibberd last to our first pick he won't be first round and he is Tasmanian not Victorian ;) Regardless, all draftees should be happy just getting drafted imo - if they don't like how it works then stick with their local league and not join a National league. Have no problem with Judd leaving - he gave his all when he played for us.

Love how every one comes into the first day of preseason with putting on a lot of bulk but by the end of preseason they have lost most of it. Sheed last year is the perfect example of it.
