The previous thread has been closed cruelly short of 9,000 posts. Please use this thread to discuss everything trade, draft and free agent related.
Just time for a quick recap of the main headlines:
- Selwood is heading to Geelong as a restricted free agent, they've lodged an offer and we have three days to match it. No word on what the compo will be if we don't.
- Colledge has reportedly asked for a trade.
- We're keen on Lewis Jetta, Jack Redden and now possibly Jed Anderson. We're not keen on Harley Bennell.
- Sydney are keen on Sinclair (or possibly Lycett) in return for Jetta but they can get stuffed AFAIC.
- Main, Maginness and Powell have been delisted.
- With Waters retiring and Selwood and Main leaving ythat's our mandatory minimum three list changes taken care of, although if we trade any players in (which we almost certainly will) we'll need to make further changes in order to take three draft picks and/or rookie promotions - either by trading out players like Colledge or Sinclair or by delisting blokes.
- McGinnity and Tunbridge appear to be the only two players still out of contract so would be the most vulnerable if we do need to make delistings. I suppose we could also possibly delist and re-rookie Cavka if his foot injury is as bad as rumoured but that'd be pretty drastic.
