yeah i hope we do but his we really lack his attributes. I have heard that his bad kicking has been overstated and it could be something that fixed. Theres this piece of play against the allies where hits the ball with pace, side steps his man and perfectly weights his kick to waterman.

Here's the video for anyone interested. He looks pretty exciting, love the way he hits the contest at pace.

Im of the opinion that if someone isn't an elite user by foot by 14 years old they never will be. I think at best with a lot of work SPP will be an average kick at afl level. He does get good penetration however. It's more his ferociousness at the contest and his will to attack the ball and the man that are his main assets imo.

I tend to agree. It's not easy to knock out a lifetime's worth of muscle memory

But I don't see a huge problem with the technique? Slightly akward but getting drop punts off ok.

Does kind of remind me of a right-footed Sheed with that excruciatingly long time for ball to foot from hand but a little bit quicker. But still slow. Ish. Probably would be a problem if bumped when kicking which will no doubt happen at the much quicker AFL level.

Love his explosiveness though and that part of his game is just what we need.

Anyone else getting Jack Steven vibes?

My understanding is that petrevski- Seaton will go well before our pick and is unlikely to get past Freo with pick 3
You think it's likely that Freo will be using pick three in the draft? That baby will be used in a trade.

Don't think his skills are all that bad. A couple of poor decisions. There was one kick that went to the advantage of his team mate in the goal square. That looked pretty good. I'd rather take a punt on this guy then paying overs for a ruck in the trade period or making a play for conca. Looks an absolute gem. Chris judd like explosiveness.

Claremont. New England Patriots.
The impressive thing about SPP is that he not only has very good speed and explosiveness also his lateral movement is elite but he also has a huge tank.
The players at his age that have both burst speed and a huge tank are rare and those who exhibit both qualities in the championships and Combine, most of them translate into fine AFL players that have long careers.

Also looks big enough to be ready to go, is that right?
Playing league at East Perth for the last 3-4 weeks and hasn't looked out of place.

As I've said in the WAFL thread I like the look of this kid and if he ends up on our list I will not be disappointed

There's a lot to like about SPP ,he also gives a great "don't argue" similar to Dustin Martin which makes him very hard to tackle .
