We have offered Shaun Grigg a two year deal , looks likely to stay at Richmond .

We're out and about anyway
It's all misdirection! look at my hands , look at my hands all the while the real trade for some other spud no one knew we were after is being done .
It's like Vosso/O'brian are the crappest magicians in the world and there big trick is pulling a potato out of a hat

Stevo just mentioned on Gameday, that West Coast had a 2 year offer on the table for Shaun Grigg on the table, has re-signed with Richmond but found that interesting nonetheless.

Edit: Beaten above.
Wow.

We should put a two year deal in front of Wells at Norths. Only 31 and prior to this year hasn't played huge numbers of games in previous years due to soft tissue injury. This year he's pulled together at least 15 games and pretty decent form. Much better player than Grigg.

Recall Wells wants a 2 year deal but Norths only offering one year. We've chased him in the past and he's an unrestricted FA so wouldn't cost anything other than cap space. Close to the perfect top up player for a flag tilt over the next two years.

Damien Barrett said Nathan Brown from the pies to the Roos. Thoughts on this trade

Wells for Mitch Brown. I think both have about 2 years left. Mitch is behind a few players while Wells if fit would be best 22 easily

*Didnt realise Well is Unrestricted FA

Mitch would be the perfect replacement for Le cras in another year. Half forward who can roam up the ground, get his own ball and take a big grab and goal. Taller and bigger than Le cras. The perfect modern day half forward.

2nd rounder as a minimum. Late first rounder if he keeps improving like he has.
SORRY I think Sam Pepper Powell would be a much better replacement for LeCras.

Woosha offered pick 4 , the year we ended up drafting Andrew Gaff . Worked out well drafting Gaffy although Wells is a Rolls Royce .

O'Meara's officially asked for a trade to an "interstate club". Gold Coast want two first rounders but his knees will be an issue.

Pick 12 and MacKenzie? Probably wouldn't be enough to get it done I suppose.
It obviously wouldn't. No club wants other clubs rejects. McKenzie is firmly in the reject pile now. If WCE want O'Meara, Barrass is the type of player that would be packaged. Nobody wants to say it - that's why trades break down.

O'meara doesn't want to return to WA so why bother also his knees are not worth the gamble.
Essendon are in perfect spot to gamble on him, with all there returning players and current
young guns he would be a great fit.

Essendon play most of there games at Etihad , Etihad would end Omeara's career by the sounds of his knee problems .

I don't agree with the trade. I like the Lobb trade. He would be a solid long term player. Trade away the draft picks.

Id rather keep our first and upgrade our 3rd for Masten & EMac.
They want experienced players and those two are pretty fair if it includes our 3rd for 22 + 23
You would package either Emac or Masten + our 3rd for one of Gold Coasts 2nd rounders or both?

Or Emac AND Masten + our 3rd for 22 + 23?

Our first pick and McKenzie might be enough for Lobb , bit tired of giving our first pick every season though .
McKenzie isn't tradeable anymore. Everybody knows he is coming back from an ACL and in horrid form. Every supporter wants to package a WAFL/VFL player into a trade - it doesn't work. Barrass is the only player in our backline that clubs will want.

Yeah a Rolls Royce with mechanical faults. What a disaster pick up Wells would have been.
For pick 4 in hindsight yes.

As a free agent that costs nothing it would be worth taking the risk.

Wonder if playing at Ethiad affected Wells injuries if at all?

It looks like he's in reasonable shape now.

This board wanted to trade pick 4 for Carlton/Melbourne's Garlett. I don't rate anyone's ability on this board in trading.
