You would package either Emac or Masten + our 3rd for one of Gold Coasts 2nd rounders or both?

Or Emac AND Masten + our 3rd for 22 + 23?
The bolded answer was what I was thinking...I can't see us getting much more than that. - Maybe our 4th instead.
If we could get 22+23 for Masten and our 3rd, I'd be doing cartwheels.

You would but it wouldn't happen. Masten and McKenzie would be poor trades for WCE as they would be lucky to secure 3rd round pity draft picks for them.

I guess we disagree then...I'd have Mastens trade value a bit higher than that of Rosa, I also believe one of the clubs with a plethora of early picks will see value in Emac...Risk vs Reward. I still think he can come back to somewhere near his best.

It going to be a very interesting off season

This board wanted to trade pick 4 for Carlton/Melbourne's Garlett. I don't rate anyone's ability on this board in trading.
I really don't think they did.

Also is there a source that Worsfold actually offered pick 4? I thought it was just rumoured, because that's what North was asking for.

Brendon Ah Chee and Cam Ellis Yollman are out of contract
Out of contract for a reason .
We don't need any more non best 22 players .
We have better kids coming through .

Mutimer looked really good yesterday as a big bodied mid . 25 touches 8 clearances 6 tackles
He was also the quickest at the combine last year in the 20m sprint 2.88sec .

add that to dug nelly Cole parto redden we have plenty of guys pushing for opportunity

This is the exact philosophy we should apply. No trades unless clearly best 22.
Those fringe type players are all behind Duggan, Redden, Masten, Nelson, etc in the midfield.
Need to keep an eye to the future.

It was just a rumour also concocted by this board. No doubt they were interested in Wells coming to WCE and were in talks with him as stated by Wells, but there was never any mention of pick 4 being traded.

Ideall off season

Wells- Free agent

Lobb- 1st Rounder+ EMac (Giants would love another KPD)

Swallow- Masten+2nd round pick (or maybe next years 1st)
This is such a ridiculous post.

Why would GC trade a number 1 draft pick in Swallow for Masten and a second round pick?
GC would be demanding Barrass and a first round pick for Lobb. Why would they recruit a full back coming off an ACL who has been relegated to the WAFL?

Masten and McKenzie hold no trade value anymore. Masten only held value in his first 3 seasons - he no longer holds the "potential" prestige and his output doesn't warrant anything higher than a 3rd round pick.

I know that is your ideal scenario but it is fairy land stuff.

This looks like the most likely to me. They get two best 22 players from us. If we trade Lamb we may have another third rounder. We could try to package them up and go for another second?

Emac + Masten + 3rd + Lamb trade for 21, 22 and 28?

And who traded with us would be checking for their watches, shirt, wallets, girlfriend's .......

add partington to that list, looking really impressive in the WAFL, he'll be in contention for a spot next season

I don't agree with the trade. I like the Lobb trade. He would be a solid long term player. Trade away the draft picks.
I agree with you Lobb would be great long term for us.
Lobb plus sam pepper powell would be a great draft for us.
I would look at trading a 2017 second rounder to gc for one of there
4 2016 second rounders this year as well.
That would give us a chance of getting a Fisher or Bolton

Damien Barrett said Nathan Brown from the pies to the Roos. Thoughts on this trade

Wells for Mitch Brown. I think both have about 2 years left. Mitch is behind a few players while Wells if fit would be best 22 easily

*Didnt realise Well is Unrestricted FA
So is Mitch Brown so it could happen.....just not as a trade.
