Club should really push lecca to hang up the boots at the end of the year. Yes his last few weeks have been somewhat good but the game has gone past him and he is gonna get worse as the year goes by. I was impressed by Tunbridge a few weeks back and even Karpany yesterday was impressive as a HFF. SPP(if we draft him) could spend his first few years playing as a forward. I wasn't a fan of hilly but started liking him again but i wouldn't mind us actually replacing him next season if he cannot find his 2015 form again. Tunbridge or SPP play his role and say karpany play leccas role.

Liam Ryan and Dacry Cameron ate or through the rookie draft is must IMO
This is crazy.

LeCras has had a down year, but is nowehere near retirement.

An average LeCras is still way better than Tunbridge, Karps or SPP.

No. He's past his best but he's still contributing

Simpson does need to be prepared to send him back to the WAFL if his form dips like it did during the midway part of this season
Saw an interesting stat on best small forwards in the AFL " on the couch " show.
#1 Phillip Matera . averaged 2 goals a game .
#2 Mark Lecras not far behind . behind those 2 were players like Jeff Farmer , Milne , Eddie Betts . Small forward a hard role to play and a lot of teams every week would be dissapointed with their small forwards .

yeah kinda agreed with WCE_phil. we still need people to cut next season. I hope he calls its quit as soon as he knows that he can't perform to the level we need him to.

This board wets their pants over a Tunbridge tackle, yet can't identify obvious talent when they see it. I think people are too tunnel visioned on midfielders.
You ascribe a lot of things to the so called, this board.

Lobb has talent, but is hugely overrated. He has the potential to be a good leading forward.

like i said i might have jumped the gun. His last few weeks have been somewhat good but he was putrid earlier in the year. We also need to blood some youngster.

I agree we need to improve our list enough that we can drop mecca and other underperformers.its good that redden and jetta were gifted many games,
Now we need to bolster our small forwards

i think mid way through last year it was a lot higher as well. Hopefully he can get to 400 if he plays on.

There isnt a small forward Knocking the door down unless we trade one in , so Lecca plays on at least another year . Hopefully one of our new draftees or someone does step up next year and force him out or even better he pulls his finger out .

Should we have a sniff at Brendon Ah Chee?
I would like him in our side, hasn't really come on but at his best is a very good midfielder/forward.
Wouldn't be good to bring him in to have him playing at EP tho like redden

I think anyone under 25 who could bolster the second tier of our midfield should be considered - for the right price.
yes but he probably worth a third rounder and we could use that on Waterman. Also talent this year runs deep. Skill and attributes wise he is better than hutch but hutch can tag and he does have a few runs on the board. Karpany, Partington, Duggan, nelson, tunbridge and Cole should all be concidered for that HFF/mid role.

Let's not allow the improved form of the past three weeks to mask the lack of midfield depth.
