How do you rate Griffin Logue ?
I wouldn't be unhappy if we took him with our 1st pick .
I would i dont know where \logue plays at AFL level 193cm doesn't have a great leap so doesn't play high for his size.
Was used as a mid in his last two colts games, seems a inbetweener.
He is very raw still hasn't played much footy

h

hows his contested game. Hard running is fine but the lack of contested mids really hurt us.
Thats a strong part of his game looms as good quality late draft choice 45+

So we now have 4 national draft picks and 3 rookie picks
Gone
Ellis
Cavka
Bennell
McGinnity

Rookie international cat b
Adamson

Rookie
Lucas
Colledge
Waterman

So Tunbridge lives to see another day may still get cut

Can go 5 senior list spots and 2 rookies if we want - only had 39 of a possible 40 senior players this year

Edit : might upgrade Tunbridge

So, I think these players have a chance of being on our list next year:
* Wells
* Swallow/Coniglio
* Rotham
* SPP
* Logue
* Guefli
* Lobb
* A/J Waterman
* Shai/Jye Bolton
* Tim English
Great list Zac Fisher and Willem Drew would be good adds.

My dream would be
SPP
Shai Bolton
Josh Rotham
Liam Ryan

He had 13 hitouts for the entire season, there is absolutely no merit in considering Petrie as a fwd/ruck. I mean Shuey had 7 hitouts this year
Petrie played as a forward . North have brown and daw to ruck before Petrie as 2nd ruck.
it's not liked he rucked for 10-20 mind a game and only had 13 hit outs for the season .
Kicked 27 goals which is alright .
If his body is up to it I don't mind the idea as a stop gap .
If he can offer 20% ruck time and kick a goal a game he would be fine

He' s played 7 league games for Swans after only 1 reserves game this year also played at H/bf for WA u18's ,his highlights look quite promising .

He is a rookie, out of contract so needs to re-sign.

We offer more money and a longer deal. He doesn't sign a contract and then is delisted.

He's worth between a 2nd to 3rd rounder. Offer Norths a 3rd for a trade.

He strikes me as the type who would move interstate for the right deal.

Much better option than a 30 yr old to just plonk on the list for 1 year, can you even trade someone in for 1 year?

Four goals in a final where you got flogged isn't a bad performance.
North have to consent to him becoming a DFA. They know he has some trade value so they won't.

Majak Daw. He would be available for the right $$ and was better than handy in his first final.

If he refuses to re-sign could come in as a delisted free agent or we offer a 3rd rounder.

Much better option than Petrie.
Why would Majak come here on a 1 year deal for average money when he would get a better deal at a number of Melbourne based clubs?

At the end of the day we need a stop gap or a guy of the ability and age bracket of Lobb. At 26-27 Majak daw is not worth 2 or 3 year deal as he's not good enough/ young enough to be a long term fixture in a side that desperately needs mids

Downgrade of first rounder for 2 second rounders in the early 20s for Rotham/Spp/Guelfi. Shai Bolton?

Mackenzie for swallow (depends how highly GC rate both players) otherwise mackenzie for a pick/picks and take whoever is left from above ^^

Wells as a free agent

Waterman as a f/s (3rd round pick?)

Liam Ryan (4th round?) may go higher if he keeps performing like today

Project ruckman and kpp players late in the draft/rookie draft

Would take a lot to make this work but if it does our midfield depth doesn't look to bad.

Nothing to do with playing list but we should be approaching Jarrad Schofield for an assistant coaching role even though I know he's not expressed a desire to coach at AFL level in the past

Would be an excellent addition if we could convince him
Has the 'ability' to polarize players. Unbelievably hard nosed as a coach

Sorry

Hutchy da GOAT

Did I do it good?

Also if you rely on MSM for your world events

May God have mercy on your soul
What an awkward response. If you consider Glenn Greenwald and Robbo to essentially be the same thing, then you are seriously lacking in awareness.

Adamson
Lucas

Waterman all delisted
Colledge was due.

Adamson was coming off Cat B and would have needed a main list spot? That might have been the sticking point? Could we have rookied him?

Lucas to the rookie list? Same bloke with the Mitch Brown selection on Thursday at the wheel on that draft choice. Glad he cost us **** all and not pick 12 like Carlolton paid.

Ginners. Goodnight sweet prince.

Waterman. Just a very sad circumstance.

Tunners to Ginners main list spot?
McInnes to the Rookie list?

Monocle - This guy was on my list...What do you know about him mate?
I was in the Big Footy Trial Mock Draft I was picking for WC....... its on the Draft and Trading Board in Phantom Drafts.

I actually took Guelifi with pick # 50 our third round pick.

Here is what I wrote some months ago.

Selection # 50 West Coast .

Matt Guelifi. 184 cm 78 kg. Inside Mid. Claremont

At this juncture in the draft I am not going to speculate on kids that, quite frankly I haven't seen enough of over a player I have seen a fair bit of .

So the Claremont Colts tackling machine is a good option here. Matt has come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months.
He is averaging 26 possessions in the colts and is a high tackle count exponent. He has an instinctive hunger for the contested possession. Tough and determined at the coal face. Good extractor and not lost on the outside either. Plays like a slightly smaller version of Scott Selwood however his disposal ( unlike Selwood ) is very tidy and he hits targets regularly over a variety of distances.
He made his senior debut for Claremont last weekend and certainly didn't disappoint. I like both his tenacity and his work rate and I believe he has the skills and determination to make it in the AFL.

FYI I took the following in the trial Mock.

Pick 14 . Rotham.
Pick 32 . Atley
Pick 50 . Guelifi.
Pick 68 . Strnadica
Pick 86 . Jye Bolton

As I understand it he had 1 year left to run as a cat b rookie; Brophy was recruited in the same draft and hasn't been delisted. The perplexing thing is that he seemed such a better prospect than Brophy, who plays on, if money was an issue; if money isn't an issue, then why de-list - it is outside the cap space. All I can think of is that they are planning to add 2 new cat-b rookies, but I've no idea who.

It's hard to tell from the outside why these things happen, but I was holding out some hope for Adamson as a good depth player who might crack a few games in 2017. A bit disappointing

Can't argue with the rest of them though.

Good delistings.

Let's hope it doesn't end at the rookie list.

Not a chance in hell we will draft Liam Ryan and you all know it.

WC doesn't draft crumbers I'm afraid - doesn't matter how good they are.

Is that necessarily a bad thing?

I do acknowledge that whilst I think someone who really challenges the players would be good for the group it could also run the risk that it causes disharmony and does more harm than good

Is he worth considering in your opinion?
