Is that necessarily a bad thing?

I do acknowledge that whilst I think someone who really challenges the players would be good for the group it could also run the risk that it causes disharmony and does more harm than good

Is he worth considering in your opinion?
I'm not sure - like betting your weekly pay on black

Have been ranting for most of the afternoon - it's a bullshit decision. Brophy was the clear choice to go if they wanted to trim the Cat B Rookies for whatever reason. Has been treated like shit at East Perth and now this.

Haha yeah, Brophy is quite an inspirational figure. Chances are he'll never play a senior game, and any Irish prospects worth their salt would follow the game and know that.
I'd sure as **** rather the experience of living in another country especially Australia coming from Ireland and at least have a crack at the big money...

I love Griffen eagles rule but I am not sure where he plays at AFL. I see him as a utility, quite mobile, very aggressive, very good contested mark.
OK thanks ,I see what you mean in the colts elim final he had 6 HO and 5 IS 50`s plus in the league Logue has had 32 HO in 8 league games and he`s only a utility that can play hbf and midfield .

Rumours that Hotline actually asked to be delisted after seeing his junior footy mate's squib on Thursday night.

Unconfirmed but a pretty reliable sauce

All those delisted simply weren't any good or suffered sickness.

Those crying at delisting Adamson, seriously? He was never ever going to make it.
Adamson is bigger than the game you SOB.

What were we expecting when we picked him up? I'd say he's met expectations at the very least in developing to the point where he's a consistent WAFL performer...well, until we pull some stupid shit to get him left out of their side to sweep his delisting under the carpet.

Now we dump him?

Seems dumb to me. What was the point in the first place?

You could say that about any player that is drafted and not used. They drafted him, gave him a couple of years to see what he had and they don't think it's going to be enough so moved him on.

Bit different taking a punt on a guy years out of the sport on a Cat B Rookie contract compared to the usual draftee.

I guess it was the same point for every player we recruit, the hope they'll turn into a player.
If they have no intention of playing him there's no reason to keep him.

Shame it didn't work out for Adamson, I hope we don't relent from taking a punt on guys from left-field though.
Worth it if one of them can make it.

I know I said that I was told that Adamson was in the dark about his contract status a few weeks ago, but I'm still surprised he got canned.

Hopefully we get someone new on the Cat B list this off-season.

Nothing to do with playing list but we should be approaching Jarrad Schofield for an assistant coaching role even though I know he's not expressed a desire to coach at AFL level in the past

Would be an excellent addition if we could convince him
Schofield is one of those old school fire and brimstone coaches that doesn't translate well to the modern day footballer. It is OK for Subi because when players have enough and leave they just buy more in. Can't see Schofield working well with others either, especially when he is just an assistant.

Just msg my mate about Adamson delisting .
He said wce had no problem with his performance on the field .

Have any of our younger posters seen him out and about ?
Is he a bit of a party boy ?
could explain a few things
From what I've seen of Corey he would be the opposite of a party boy. Very settled and engaged to a long term girlfriend (in fact a little bit whipped).

I wonder if it has something to do with his contract. Maybe he has been offered a lot less than his original contract and has decided to look elsewhere?

Muddy junior is a bit disappointing.
There was an article a while back in which Vozzo or similar said he will either be kept on the rookie list or delisted but will monitor and look to pick up again when/if he gets better. I would have kept him myself as rookies are so high risk and he has talent.
