He did, was outperforming most others at WAFL level. Shitmunchers like Redden get free passes though.
I was more than hopefull that he was going to make it but maybe the position he was targeted for ,well maybe others guys had gone past him ..

His WAFL was average at best, he showed some signs but he would end up a fill in at very best at AFL level.
What has happened to this huge gap between AFL and WAFL? None of our AFL listed players tear up the WAFL.
If you are an AFL listed player you should be tearing the WAFL apart,nAdamson is certainly not even close to doing that.
Agreed, he had maybe a couple of good games at WAFL League level with the rest being pretty average. From what I've seen of Adamson he isn't that good and the fact he finished the year playing WAFL Reserves shows he isn't up to it.

He shouldn't have been playing reserves late in the year, that was a ridiculous call on a player outperforming most of those gifted games late in the league team like Redden and Duggan.

i think most saw this coming. he had an ok season 2 years ago but ast year he struggles and after a promising start, he reverted back to being a disappointment.

I was in the Big Footy Trial Mock Draft I was picking for WC....... its on the Draft and Trading Board in Phantom Drafts.

I actually took Guelifi with pick # 50 our third round pick.

Here is what I wrote some months ago.

Selection # 50 West Coast .

Matt Guelifi. 184 cm 78 kg. Inside Mid. Claremont

At this juncture in the draft I am not going to speculate on kids that, quite frankly I haven't seen enough of over a player I have seen a fair bit of .

So the Claremont Colts tackling machine is a good option here. Matt has come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months.
He is averaging 26 possessions in the colts and is a high tackle count exponent. He has an instinctive hunger for the contested possession. Tough and determined at the coal face. Good extractor and not lost on the outside either. Plays like a slightly smaller version of Scott Selwood however his disposal ( unlike Selwood ) is very tidy and he hits targets regularly over a variety of distances.
He made his senior debut for Claremont last weekend and certainly didn't disappoint. I like both his tenacity and his work rate and I believe he has the skills and determination to make it in the AFL.

FYI I took the following in the trial Mock.

Pick 14 . Rotham.
Pick 32 . Atley
Pick 50 . Guelifi.
Pick 68 . Strnadica
Pick 86 . Jye Bolton
You looking for a new job? Prefer to see you in the Recruiting Team and piss off some of the old school.

your missing the point Corey played state 18`s and surely 2 years is enough to get his touch back ..
pretty sure he played sate u/16's with them. He had 6 years away from the game and had to transform his body from a baseballer into an AFL player. Its not an easy thing to do as AFL players not only need to be really strong but have to be extremely fit. He deserved another year.

Wells has been offered a two year deal from you guys. Has a number of other clubs interested as well, north continuing to lowball him, both with wage and length of contract.

Not too sure why you guys have been linked to Petrie. He is absolutely cooked. He was cooked halfway through this year and really should have been dropped but Brad doesn't have the balls to make that call. May have happened if Waite had of stayed fit. If you do pick him up I could see him having more impact as a ruck than as a forward. You can always rely on him providing a contest but his contested marking/tackling pressure declined way too much this year for us to justify his position.

Don't think Majak would leave to go interstate, he has resisted offers from Brisbane/GC over the past 3 years. If he does move on (which would be pathetic list management on our behalf) I'm tipping it would only be to a Melbourne club!

Best of luck next year. It was a dog of a weekend for us both.
Id take him. All class, been solid all year and tried hard on the weekend. Would be a good 2 year pickup i think.

There was an article a while back in which Vozzo or similar said he will either be kept on the rookie list or delisted but will monitor and look to pick up again when/if he gets better. I would have kept him myself as rookies are so high risk and he has talent.
Further on that they were in discussions with his family as to whether it was best to keep him rookied or delist him and give him time to get better before picking him up again if he indeed comes good.
