Are you sure, I was under the impression he was on 1.5 Million over 4 years
Thats what was reported but Sinclair was saying he wishes he was getting that when asked , he's actually getting double what he was at WCE which is pretty good . I contacted West Coast after that trade and the loss of Rosa ... West Coast replied and acknowledged they couldn't stand in the way of Sinclair going .

Sinclair on radio a few days later was saying he asked WCE to extend his contract beyond 2016 but West Coast couldn't guarrentee a contract so Sinkers had no choice but he has doubled his income but the $ 400k Sinkers was saying was greatly exagerated and he would be living with a couple of other players in a share house ...

Still, when you take into account what the salary cap is and what our top players are likely making paying $250K for someone to sit in the WAFL is a lot of money.

Was thinking today just how much we've missed Embley since he retired. Line breaking wingman, good over head, loved a goal and a booming long kick.

Had an unfair reputation as a downhill skier but some of his best performances were in close wins on the road.

Bit painful watching Duggan struggle through this year arguably getting wose and worse whilst other rookies are eclipsing his output.

Averaging 13 touches a game, Blakely is averaging 20, Weller 14 plus 9 goals.

Meanwhile Partington is playing WAFL reserves :screamcat:
Though to be fair if Duggan had converted his shots on goal he'd suddenly be 13 plus 8 goals

the lack of quality inside mids from WA in recent years is also working against us. Swallow and O'Meara have massive question marks over them, leaving Mitchell and coniglio as the only gun mids from WA out of contract in the next few years.

Blakley and Weller are playing key midfield roles on ball in freo pathetic team . Both have also padded their stats nicely against Essendon and Brisbane.
Weller looks good but nice pick up . Blakley is a hard nose ball winner but disposal is meh .
And? You'd think if anything, Duggan has had it easier, playing in every game from last years grand final team. Compared to a basket case that is fremantle.

He's had plenty of opportunities to "pad his stats" against shit teams every time we flat track it up.

Agreed Weller looks good. Played forward last week and dominated. We could use his zip right about now.

duggan has inside capabilities and has looked better when pushed on ball. However, simmo hasnt pushed him on ball that frequently. I prefer the duggan pick over weller. we already have too many wingers.

Correction - we missed Embley before he retired. He was well short of his best in his last season. Just ask Dale Thomas.

Duggan is nearly a year younger than Weller too. Weller looks the goods though
