David Noble is the Crows head of footy dept.
Wants an AFL job and they might have something organised for him at Brisbane. Fixing the place I think.

If that eventuates then Vozzo might be on the move.

No chance of trading 3 quality mids. Best case, we snag Swallow or Coniglio, Redden learns how to football, Sheed gets a full pre season - beast mode and Duggan goes super sayain and moves into a capable AFL midfield standard player.
Dug does remind me of Gohan alot. We also have krillan in the coaches box.

What's the point ? We have seen enough, he isn't going to be a significant upgrade on any of our players and he is unlikely to even be fit to select.

People treat lower picks as a whatever lets waste this pick. Geez imagine we picked up a Lucas instead of mcgovern in the rd. Rd still present value cause it gives us an opportunity to turn over our list with players with genuine upside. Picking limited but known qualities like morabito only ensures that we continue to tread water. Poor approach to list management in my opinion, especially when your list is lacking genuine quality through the middle.

I am not sure how you come to the conclusion that Moro is not a significant upgrade on any of our players (unless you are factoring the risk of him not staying fit and if so then fair enough).

On talent alone he is an upgrade on College, Karpany, Mcinnes, Masten, Butler, McGinnity, Lucas etc ...... Can play big or medium.

Is he worth the risk for a rookie? The answer is yes if we consider we are in the window.

Because a 3 year rookie sure as hell can't help us in the Kennedy window.

EFA: he has actually contributed as much to WCE success as College and Lucas already!

What're the chances of snaring Patrick Cripps?? Can't imagine a more ideal heir to Priddis' throne? Cripps and Coniglio through the midfield and somehow manage to snare Lobb as well... Hmm one can only dream

I hear the ink is drying as we speak

Been interesting this thread since I left it last night.
Obeanie has been smoking the crack pipe with his suggestions.

Monocle been making sense at least.

Our top 25 is good but our list really really falls away after that.
Those back ten players on the list need to be weeded out.

Whats important to note is the depth in this draft is terrific this year, with the WA talent better than normal.
Top 40 looks very very strong there will be good picks all the way to the rookie draft.

Next year top 20 will be good maybe even better but will fall away badly after that, there will hardly be a wa boy drafted in 2017 meaning the depth will be shit.

That why I would be prepared to trade 2017 first and second rounders as i dont rate next years draft.

So this really is the year for a clean out.

But will say this is a really shit year for KP backman and forwards.
So would be drafting them this year.

Simply put, by any measure, we regressed in 2016.
If your not going forwards in this game then you are going backwards.

First step to solving a problem is admitting you have one.

We need some serious list changes , maybe not a major overhaul, but we do need quite a bit of tweeking.

What our list served up for the first three quarters of the season , and the elimination semi was unadulterated crap.

We lacked cohesion.
We lacked consistency.
We lacked intensity.

And what is a real worry is that East Perth's form mirrored that of West Coast.
As neither group of players worked as a team both sides we riddled with some good individual performance and often some very selfish play.

The "We aren't in crisis so take a deep breath. " comment sounds like the Richmond mantra thats prevailed for the last two centuries.

We should be aiming for excellence not mediocrity.

Well it's not a crisis so thinking we are is actually Richmond mantra. So you are channeling a Richmond fan more than anyone.

Calm. Down.

End of 2019.

It's a long way away.

I'm not sure why there isn't more talk of us going at Fyfe. Especially next year as a free agent. A top level elite midfielder changes a team dynamic so much. Look at Geelong and Dangerfield this year.

I'm as one eye'd an eagle supporter as any.. N I'd never want a Fremantle play ever playing for us..

Except Fyfe.. I'd very much like for him to play for us...

Here's what our delisting will look like

Gone
Damian Cavka
Xavier Ellis
Patrick McGinnity
Jamie Bennell

Possible Delist
Fraser McInnes (may get another year just on the fact talls suck in this draft and he can ruck)
Malcolm Karpany (probably saved his career with good end of season form)

Trade
Tom Lamb
Mitch Brown
Eric Mckenzie

Rookie List Gone
Brant Colledge
Simon Tunbridge
Kane Lucas

So will have 3 rookie picks and between 4 to 7 main list picks I believe we may have 6 main list draft picks

Haven't heard that one before - like it.

Has some things to work on that all kids (and some older ones) need to do
Expect him to play more through HBF/midfield next year - as he does have pace and aggression which based on last night WC could do with.

Older players are always treated differently to the youngsters - they have credits in the bank. The job of a coach is to realize when those credits are exhausted.

Serious question.

Yeo. Whats his status?

He seems to be teasing everyone with his potential but is very inconsistent.

Has been carrying an injury, something else or just mentally needs to mature?

What?

Where should we play him?
