It might've been more strategic of me not to ask minutes after the Crameri deal was announced. Already buried under five pages of discussion. I completely agree that he's just what we need plus we could realistically nab him with 26.
True. Will try and get the ball rolling again now though seeing as people seem to have actually started taking about 26 a bit more.
So please guys, this is attempt number three, how would people feel about Jay Kennedy-Harris at 26?
for those that have never heard of him, a draft profile write up:

So I guess if we do pick someone from later in the ND it'll be a mature aged defender from Frankston and not some future spud.
There are whispers about Dushner (sp.) from our VFL side as a chance, purely as this draft well it is ordinary. As I said before, if we had to get penalised, we picked the right year anyway!

Won't go 1st round. The question is whether St Kilda with a stack of picks take a gamble at an early 20's pick or GWS.
Saints would be the most likely I think. GWS seem paranoid about nurturing their club culture and with all the other players available to them by virtue of all the first round picks they've accumulated I can't see them taking the punt on a guy who might cause trouble.

St Kilda worry me although the good thing is their last one before us is in the teens I think. Garlett probably won't go there- more likely in the 20's.

How deep is this draft looking to be? If we only got 55 for Gumby would it be better to upgrade Steinberg instead of risking some kid in what could be a weak year?
Why not take a punt on 55? Steinberg isn't likely going to play a senior game next year anyway, and we might uncover a gem.

Hope so but somehow I doubt it will happen. Mind you at 26 I would. The draft looks like an absolute spud.

Garlett at 26

Upgrade: Steinberg
Upgrade: Dalgelish

DONE.
Dalgleish is the only rookie upgrade we'll be doing according to Dodoro. My guess would be the best available small foward/mid at pick 26 (Garlett or Jay Kennedy-Harris), then a KPF/ruck with the next pick, then upgrade Dalgleish after that and pass on all later picks.

I wouldn't mind that. From some of the games I saw last year he was a real stand out. Really turned it on for a small bloke and thought he was a little ripper.

Can see the merit in this, I would like to retain Steinberg for next season though. Garlett at 26 would be perfect. Getting a top 5 talent at 26 is what we have to do. Lets back Bomber to work with him- remember Stevie J....he was off the rails too!

I can't see this bloke lasting that long (#26).
