thanks for that.......very helpful....

names of potential draftees which he gave me about 30
The AFL website has names and profiles for about 10 at the moment, anything more than that will probably take a while to come up. Anything of reasonable quality will take months anyway, when footy is back and the draft watchers actually have something to go off when writing profiles.

A look at the TAC Cup kicking efficiency of our new guys compared to the others in my top 100.

Mutch is basically equal with McCluggage and Setterfield for kicking efficiency

Ridley was also ahead of those two top three picks.

Any reason why the top person Harrison Bult wasn't drafted or have I missed that selection.

Nah he wasn't, I imagine because statistics are only as useful as the person interpreting them :) Must have been other flaws in his game.

It's possibly a skewed stat as well, like he may have only played one game.

I agree, working with stats, the interpretation is often way more important.

Mutch is also very willing to use both feet which makes his efficiency even more impressive.

I wouldn't include someone in this if they didn't play enough games. Harrison Bult played 8 games. I had him getting drafted in my mock and he would be a fairly strong rookie chance now. 197cm who can play both ends and even up on a wing. Played mostly as a defender. He does need to win more of the ball and put on some size but his kicking has always been elite.

Pretty happy we didn't go with Bolton with our second pick. Seemed like an inconsistent Leroy Jetta to me.

Jetta was a fumbler, who couldn't make a good quick decision on what to do when he was in possession.
From the videos I have seen Bolton is none of those (his ball handling is super), and he would beat Leroy by 10m in a 20m sprint.

Agreed, kinda funny how Florent's stocks rose so dramatically on the back of the exhibition game but Bolton's didn't, who was equal to or better than Ollie.

Don't know much about Ridley. Fox had him ranked at #70. Need to trust they can see a lot of upside with him. Was most likely selected to fill a role.

Do you take the Fox ratings seriously ? Does anyone put their name to the draft ratings ?

don patch sword have you come across Jordan Robinson from Western Jets? Was VM rep in u/16's but has battled injury for 2 years. Jets having him as a 19 year old.
